He was an amazing professor who enjoyed teaching the stories of Greek mythology to us. It did not even feel like a class, but like a friend telling you this amazing thing that happen thousands of years ago. This is one of the best classes that I have taken here. Tests are super easy

He's a cool professor. Unlimited attempts at quizzes until they're due. You'll do well on his tests if you read, look at the picture slides, and review the quizzes. Offers a large amount of extra credit for some questions based on extra reading. No reason to not make an A in the class if you do what he says to (slides, quizzes, reading).

Easily my favorite professor at UA. Dr. Summers makes his lectures super interesting and fun with all his jokes. He also posts every lecture online in case you miss one. Definitely recommend this course if you have to take an elective!

I love Prof. Summers! His lectures are entertaining and funny. His quizzes are easy. Most lectures are put on Tegrity. If you listen to the lectures and read the book (chapters are a few pages at most). His class was the only one that didn't take attendance but I enjoyed it so much that I willing went. Take if you are interested this topic!

Pretty interesting class. I enjoy the concepts and he teaches them with great knowledge. Grading is not bad at all but the struggle is processing all the names of individuals during the course. Still one of the best electives out there to take at UA for an A.

The best professor I've had yet. He is very animated and funny during lectures. Make sure you read the book, though (which is pretty interesting anyway). If you can, take him in the fall because every week of football season he sacrifices the opponents mascot to the gods. Fun stuff.

This class is not very difficult, however, it is harder than the reviews make you believe. It is not by any means the easiest class I have had at UA. But, having said that, it should be easy to make an A. Didn't know how to study for the first test so I made an 88, but then figured it out and made a 98. Take notes and study the quizzes and pictures

This class wasn't hard, but also not as easy as most reviews claim. I read everything and went to the lectures and I still struggled with some of the test questions. Make sure you know all the quiz questions, complete the study guides, and go to most classes and you should be fine. No reason you shouldn't get an A or B in this course.

Kirkules is awesome. Grades-wise there are 4 tests. Go to class for his awesome lectures. The book is super cheap. Extra credit on the last test can make for an easy A. Just do it

This class is awesome. Kirkules is a hilarious teacher and makes the class very enjoying. It's also a pretty easy class to pass without too much studying if you do the weekly quizzes (10 multiple choice questions each with infinite retries).

Kirkules is hilarious! He makes you want to come to class. Also, I recommend taking it in the fall because then you get to chant roll tide in Latin while he sacrifices the opposing teams mascot to Zeus. I'm not even making this up.

This class isn't hard, but it's not as easy as this site makes it seem. I read everything and went to the lectures and I still struggled with some of the test questions. Make sure you know all the quiz questions and answers, read the book, and go to class and you should be fine. If he gives a study guide, that is NOT all that will be on the test!!

"Kirkules" is awesome. 3 tests + Final, quizzes for each lecture (only 10 questions, can retake as many times as you want) chapters are like 5 pages tops. Class never lasts the entire time, no attendance credit but you need to go otherwise you miss all the lecture points. He's a bit monotone, but he does a good job keeping it interesting and funny

KIRKULES is the man. Myth is the most interesting class I've taken at UA. He is the best person to teach it because he is obviously extremely passionate about every story and is an awesome storyteller. You learn so much from this class and even though lecture isn't mandatory, you want to go because it's entertaining and interesting.
