Mrs. Hauser is like your favorite teacher from high school - sweet lady but kinda annoying as a professor. Her lectures are pretty boring, but the exams are very easy. Takes attendance randomly throughout the semester, no extra credit opps, homework assignments due every few weeks, replies to all emails. She just babies her students big time

It is almost impossible to get anything lower than an A in the class if you show up and take notes. She takes attendance every now and then. She does not post her notes online so the only way to get them is to go to class and write them down. However, study the notes you take and an A is so easy to get her tests are word for word from the notes.

Test are not too hard, everything you need to know is on PowerPoints. Gives study guides and extra credit. She takes attandance randomly. You do not have to be a music major to succeed in her class.

Kristin Hauser wrote her own book for use in class and now buying the book is mandatory. It's really expensive which sucks. She's a very lovely and kind woman who loves what she teaches. The class is an easy A, but keep in mind she makes it very clear that she doesn't round up and an 89.99 is a B. "You get the grade you work for."

Ms. Hauser is by far the easiest music appreciation teacher at Tech. She is super nice and will work with you if you need it. She loves what she teaches and gives you the study guides, that if you study you will make an easy A. Almost no homework. Don't buy the textbook because if you take notes, all her notes answer the study guide questions.

Work work work! 5 exams, 5 Online projects, 10 Quizzes,Book you can't resale, notes in class must be written due to that she doesn't list them anywhere else,forcing you to come to class and concert attendance. There are other easy classes with less work. However, she is nice and enjoys her subject; maybe too much!

Professor Hauser is awesome! She tries to make the class interesting and she's pretty funny. She gives two points extra credit on the exams if you take the online quizzes that go with the textbook. She gives you two free days to miss, but if you miss more, you get a point taken off your final grade. Easy A if you go to class. Take her if you can!

She is awesome!!! She tries to be funny and at times she actually is! Lol but her class is very easy and she's a kind woman!!! Take her! Her tests are easy and you have 3 discussion post which you have a month to get it done and a concert to attend and write 350 words over! Super easy and she makes it fun with listenings and videos!!! Loved her!

I will definitely miss this instructor. She was brilliant and not simply because the class wasn't terribly difficult. She reminds me of that favorite elementary school teacher we all have had. There isn't much use for the text book as the class is pretty well dominated by power points. Take notes and read every email. You will score well.

The class was easy. I made overall great grades. However, it's incredibly boring. AND, she takes attendance every class period. This may not seem like an issue, but you are only allowed to miss 2 classes and it's a 3 day a week class. Also, I made an 89.7% in the class,and I still did NOT get an A like other professors do.

Easy class if you take your notes and study some. Powerpoints make note-taking easy, and listening excercises aren't too difficult either. As long as you take the notes and write down the song names, you really shouldn't waste your money getting the text book. Takes attendance randomly, so don't skip too often.
