Great professor. She is very clear when teaching the material and is always happy to make herself available and answer questions. A workbook is used in class and is really all you need for the class, but having the textbook is helpful to refer back to and complete homework. I am a terrible at Math. As an English major, I dread my Math classes. Kokal made it SO easy and was very helpful when it came to explaining the material. She's very laid back in this class. It's extremely easy and recommend it to anyone looking for a easy, understandable, math course!
