Comment:

Really straightforward professor. Go to lecture everyday, ask questions, study a bit, you'll do fine. His test questions are really reasonable and he let us take a few quizzes open note when he could tell we didn't cover material thoroughly enough. Highly recommend his class.

Comment:

One of the best teachers I've had at De Anza so far! I really hate and struggle with math, but this class was pretty easy for me. Basically, if you show up to every class and take notes (test/quizzes are open note), you will definitely pass the class with at least a B!

He's a great professor! He'll go over a problem until you really understand it. He's patient & kind. You will need the textbook because the hw will be from it. Quizzes and exams are the things you practice through hw. Do your HW and you will pass. Drops lowest quiz and exam.

very rude and uncaring. The first week of class as I'm still trying to find a class schedule, I walked in the room and sat down. (this is the second day of class, only missed two hours the first day of class. most teachers let their student leave early this day). he said "I don't give add codes. If you weren't here monday you're not in my class!"

Man I miss Prof. Nicoletti so bad. He does EVERY SINGLE problem step by step to avoid confusion. Good guy and ready to help in the math tutorial center if needed. I wish he taught more math classes.

I had him to be my teacher for this spring quarter. His class is easy going. All you need to do just take every note that he was talking about in class and you can use this for test or exam. He will let you open note on every test and exam.

Professor Nicoletti, helped me break free from my fear for math. He's a really great math teacher, he teaches step by step in a easy way. Take notes while you're in his class cause it is your strongest assets for your quiz, midterm, and finals.

Prof. Nicoletti is a great teacher. Seems intimidating at first, but is actually pretty funny and helpful. Pay attention to how quizzes, worksheets and exams work! He gives you lots of opportunities to do well, honestly, you just need to put in effort. He lets you use your notes on quizzes, exams and even the final which was huge for me!

You need to know that I made an account on Rate My Professors because I just HAD to rate Mr. Nicoletti: He's an AMAZING teacher! He's thorough with all his problems that he writes on the board, never skips a step, and CLEARLY explains how to solve the problem. He doesn't take attendance but he gave out assignments everyday due next class.

I too this class my very first semester and failed I was very hesitant on taking it again scared I wasn't going to pass but this professor made math so much easier and clearer then other teachers I have taken in the past he also lets you use your notes on exams and quizzes and he is beyond helpful take him!!!!

Professor Nicoletti is seriously the nicest professor on campus. He was always very helpful and easy to talk to. He goes over the material very slowly and clearly. If you've already learned the material, it might be a little redundant and boring but he explains it very thoroughly nonetheless. Likes to pick on students sometimes. Highly recommend!

This teacher is amazing. He is very efficient in his style of teaching. Class is well structured and lecture is clear. He shows you the easier way of doing certain problems but doesn't mind if you use other methods as long as you show work. His tests are refections of classwork and homework. He is helpful and very knowledgable. I highly recommend.

TOOK him for my first math class at de anza so i didn't really know what to expect, but as long as you show up to class and take notes, it's fairly easy to follow along. he lets you use your notes. hes pretty easy going and will drop your lowest test score if you get a higher grade on the final.

He is probably one of the best math teachers I have ever had. Not only are his lectures easy to understand, but he makes them fun as well! You are allowed notes on all quizzes and exams so make sure you do practice problems and homework. Easy A in my opinion, he rocks!

I TOOK HIM BACK IN FALL 2010. AT THE TIME I DROPPED MATH 3 TIMES. NICOLETTI WAS MY 4TH ATTEMPT IN MATH 212 AND HE'S THE BEST MATH INSTRUCTOR I EVER HAD. IF I COULD PASS HIM ANYONE CAN. BUT I HAD TO UTILIZE THE TUTORING CENTER FOR EXTRA HELP BECAUSE THAT'S ANOTHER FACTOR OF MY SUCCESS. THANK U NICOLETTI!
