Comment:

Kris Presler is fantastic. He knows his stuff, and better, he knows how to teach it in a way that's easy to understand. He cares that his students comprehend the material, and he'll give you whatever help you need to succeed. There's no surprise material on the tests, and the main homework is MyStatLab (online), which is pretty straight-forward.

Kris is so great. If you have to take stats TAKE KRIS. He is so nice, and even though class is long, it doesn't feel that way. He makes class fun with his jokes. Stats is a tricky subject, but he makes it easier to understand is always there to help. He is genuinely a good person. HIGHLY recommend.

Comment:

Nicest guy you'll ever meet, a good professor, but his class is way too hard. Other stats professors wont go nearly as in depth as him and Professor Day go. They'll give out practice exams and reviews for exams, but they wont match the actual exam. If you're looking to just take stats and get out he is NOT the professor to take.

Comment:

Kris is one of my favorite professors I have ever had. He makes the class really enjoyable with his dad jokes every once in a while. Make sure to do all the homework and practice outside of class. This class can be tough, but if you go to office hours he helps you understand things a lot more.

Literally such a good stats professor. Very very nice and caring. Teaches in a way that makes you want to learn. Does not go too fast through material. Makes sure everyone knows what we are learning! Great Professor!!!

Comment:

Since stats is required for my major, I was absolutely dreading it. But Professor Presler honestly makes it as fun as enjoyable as possible. On the first day of class he told us that he would do his best to keep us engaged and interested and he has lived up to that throughout the semester. I HIGHLY recommend taking him if you get the chance.

Comment:

Presler is a great professor who takes the time necessary to make sure students understand. The course is very test heavy, but he makes the exams worth 80% and has 20% as a rewrite to help your score. Highly recommended!

Kris Presler 's dad jokes make his class worthwhile. Stats is not an easy subject but I thought he taught it well. Exams are hard but the final was a breeze. Lots of opportunities to boost your grade through homework and test remakes.

Presler is an amazing professor who truly does care about his students and wants them to succeed. His lectures are engaging and the note formatting makes it extremely helpful to study along with the additional online quizzes and bookwork. The tests were pretty straight forward and easy and he was frequently available for office hours with questions

Take him for stats! Such a great person and professor who's much more concerned with you understanding the material than getting a grade. Weekly homework is easy, some group quizzes but he will give you good help if you ask, and offers online make-up exams to boost your exam grade. If stats is required for you take his class and you won't regret it

Presler is seriously the nicest professor and clearly cares about his job and students. Although the material is tough, he does his best to make it simple! Group quizzes help boost grades because they're open book! Make sure to pay attention in class.

He is a really good teacher and does a lot to make you understand what you're doing. The homework isn't checked so you don't have to do it but you won't know what is going on if you don't. There are lots of in class group quizzes and outside of class group homework. You get a notecard for each of the 4 tests. The class is hard but Presler is cool.

Kris is a great professor and is ALWAYS willing to help you in class or in office hours! I am not the best at stats, but he made learning it tolerable. There are homework iclicker quizzes, group quizzes, and exams (exams are tough so you will need to study!). Great guy and would definitely recommend

Kris is an awesome professor! The semester consists of homework quizzes, but only couple problems per section so don't worry! also group quizzes (open note) are very helpful in learning! outside group homework was at first frustrating, but really helped me succeed! Exams were tough, but what math ones aren't. you are allowed a notecard which helps!

I wasn't a fan of the group homework, but it did help me step out of my box. All quizes were group quizes, so that was nice unless you get stuck with someone that doesn't do anything. Quizes took the entire hour, and I felt were too long for a quiz. Tests were hard. I wouldn't have done well without the notecard we can use. Final was HARD.

He was by far the best statistics teacher i've ever had. He made a very hard class a lot easier than it was. He makes topics a lot easier. The tests aren't too hard if you understand what each lesson is. Really good teacher. Gives a lot of group quizes (probably one a week). Gives positive reinforcement and makes lectures as fun as it could be.

GREAT GUY. loves to talk about his daughters in class. Very very helpful. Goes at a slow paste so everyone wont get confused but YOU GOTTA STUDY AND DO THE HOMEWORK PRACTICES OR YOU WILL GET LOST. Other than that, you should be fine in his class. GREAT GUY. take him for stats 264
