I had Dr. Bhatia in the mid to late 70's. At that time he resembled well the pleasant and helpful person so many express here. But beyond that he is also a very wise man. He was a major influence in my life and I am grateful that I got to know him as a person as well as professor. H

Be prepared to do the assignments on the chapters. He really doesn't give a lot of detailed notes. He expects you to read the book and write down the notes from the presentation. When taking the test, the majority of it is from the book. Prewarning- there are some questions he will use from chapters you haven't read yet.

Hard to understand at first, but it gets easier. Kind of repetitive. Class not really mandatory, but watching everyone do power points means you do not have to study at all for tests. Takes 50 points out of 60 on tests. Very nice guy. Assigns group power point presentation, so make sure at least one of you has access to a book.

Dr. Bhatia is NOT that hard to understand. The only reason someone wouldn't be able to understand him is because they never came to class to become accustomed to his accent. Tests are right out of the book. Grades on a 10 point curve. He is very lenient, and because of this, students seemed to think they could treat him with no respect at all.

He was really hard to understand. he was sort of touchy-feely and that weirded me out. it's an easy A but really freaking boring. i wanted to shoot myself half of the time i was in class.

He is a nice guy, and tries to be funny. Yet he is really hard to understand. His exams are out of 60 points, but he only grades them out of 50. Recommended if you want an easy A and don't mind boring your face off.

Can be pretty hard to understand, but you get use to it. The tests are very easy, pretty much common sense. Attendance really doesn't matter. If your looking for an easy grade, take him. He's also a really funny guy if you pay attention!

very sweet guy. he wants his students to do well, and he gets very excited when someone gets a good grade. he gives an automatic 10 point curve to each test and if you miss less than 10 points you get bonus for the next test. accent makes some things hard to understand but you get used to it. read the book and you'll be fine!

Easy Class, very nice guy. The tests come straight from the book and so does the powerpoint. Read the chapters at least once and you will not get below a C. If you're stumped on a question, always go with the answer that is longer. He is hard to understand and teaches the same thing over and over, but you learn by reading the book anyway.

super sweet professor. really wants his students to do well. you get a handshake if you get an A and a compliment if you get "money in the bank". never used the book except for the powerpoint presentation which is an automatic 100. tests are common sense and attendence isn't mandatory, but he walks around the class to take it everyday.

Dear God. Cant understand him, teaches horribly if he even teaches. Tests are easy tho if you have some common sense. Just pick the answer that is longest and sounds the best. Or pick "None or All of the above" when it is an option. Gives 60 point tests that count for 50, so you do the math. Take the class, you can skip a bunch of times. A or B.

Dr. Bhatia is a nice guy. Though he does not teach at all. He has the students make power points of each chapter and then has them go over their chapter to the class. It is hard to learn the material this way so you have to do alot of reading on your own. He gives each person 10 extra points on the tests, so it's not all that bad.
