Took her for EGR 250 and ME 331. Very good teacher, and records her lectures so you can re-watch them or watch them for the first time whenever you want. Tests are pretty hard. Most other thermodynamics teachers are much easier. Really tough grader on labs. Our lab reports only got better but the grade stayed the same because she got more picky

Does not follow other professors that also teach ME331, makes up her own lecture notes and is really not helpful. Makes you fill out a pointless peer eval for each lab, which only gives herself more work to do. My group basically wrote the same thing for each one and didn't complain about each other.

The best! This wasn't the easiest subject, but I enjoyed the lectures because of the note packets that she prints out for us to follow along. The tests are straight forward but NOT EASY, study. The first project was a little intense, the second was not.

She isn't the best teacher of this material. She confuses her self at times in class, and seems to be making up the lectures as she goes along. I don't know why everyone loves her; to be honest, I can't stand her.

Brilliant professor. One of OU's best. She puts a ton of time and effort into the class. Her notes packets are awesome and she has the amazing ability to make super hard material crystal clear. Work hard and you'll get a good grade.

This class is a beast, but Dr. Guessous is great. She's very clear, prints off her notes packages, and not only is available during office hours but she responds to emails quickly, even on weekends. Tests are difficult and the design lab is a royal pain, but she's there to help. Lectures are a bit boring, but crucial to keeping up and succeeding

Prof.Guessous is the absolute epitome of professors, & she cares about her students. Tough on her exams, but very thorough & open to questions when it comes to lectures. She writes her own notes and prints them out before she goes over them. This section only had 4 labs, which balanced the workload--tough, but manageable. Would recommend her 10/10.

Guessous is an great teacher. She will go out of her way to make sure students understand the material and her notes are very helpful. She grades exams harder in this class than in EGR 250 but it's still fair. Lab reports take a long time if you want a good grade because she's picky with them but the feedback helps you improve.

Takes FOREVER to give feedback on lab reports. Tests are inconsistent on their level of difficulty. Does not follow her syllabus on what is expected. Keeps you in class all hour. She over explains everything. I would not recommend her. The class is tollerable, but you really have to know what you are doing to do well.

helpful teacher. material is not easy so having her as a teacher is a must. Her notes are amazing. She gives you a packet and you go through it together. Tests are fair but they are out of 20 and small mistakes will hurt your grade.Labs are long and stupid but it comes with the territory. She lets you fix your mistakes if you don't do well.Reccomen

I should say she is not hard, the material is very hard though. If you study a lot you will pass. Grades fair, lectures off handouts. Wish I had her for other classes. Labs suck and take way too long and are graded very tough. ME students be sure to pay attention, this material will come up later. Answers any question well.

One of the nicest teachers shes amazing!!! Very clear in class and will be more then happy to help. exams are on the harder side but then again its not a easy class. She makes sure you understand the stuff if you need the help! I would recommend her to anyone to take for this class! Do your homework and you will do just great!!

honestly before taking this class everyone told me how hard it would be, but Professor Guessos made it to be the easiest Egr class ive taken at OU... if you have to take this class, make sure u take it with her, her lectures are fun and clear, exams are a little hard, but who are we kidding here, all professors are hard when it comes to exams.

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR. Exams are ridiculously hard...and not pertinent to her homework at all. Example problems dont have the little twist to the problems she gives on the exams. Very hard to follow in lecture...boring droning voice. A real jerk outside of class aswell if you ever decide to ask for help.

One of the hardest classes ive ever had to take. She doesnt really explain much practical problem sets, but instead just goes over in depth theory which she doesnt apply on the exams. In fact her exams consist of problems with kickers in them that you have never seen in hw or in class problems. If you can avoid her i would advise it.
