I have never had a more condescending, disrespectful, and self-righteous professor or teacher in my 13+ years of education. She has no concept of constructive criticism, and has no ability or desire to promote learning. If you are in her lab section, quit. If you need it for your major, change majors. It isn't worth the agony she will cause.

This malicious parasite single-handedly destroyed my interested in biology and my confidence. Has favorites, finds ANY excuse to knock off points. When a normal teacher sees that many students did poorly on an assignment or assessment, they'll say something to the class. She says nothing. Wants you to fail. Stay away, and warn others.

I unfortunately was stuck in a lab section with Bonneu. Everything about favorites is true, her grading is very subjective. Please heed my warning when i say stay away, you wont learn anything and you'll come out with a sub-par grade, no matter how much time you spend on the subject

If you somehow have to be in this class, switch out. She is by far the worst teacher I've had at Trinity or even in high school. She is unclear, unhelpful and picks favorites. She is also very very odd resulting in everyone feeling insanely uncomfortable. DO NO TAKE HER CLASS!

The only hope of doing well in this class is if you manage to get on her good side, which is hard to do. She grades based on whether she likes you, and is extremely nit-picky. I struggled the entire time through this class, and she offered me no help. If her name ever shows up on your schedule, switch out as soon as possible.

Never EVER take a class with this woman. She wants nothing more than to see you fail. Whenever I asked her for help she scoffed at me and ignored my questions. And when I confronted her about a nasty comment on a lab, she refused to acknowledge it. She's definitely trained to be a researcher, because shes a TERRIBLE professor.

No doubt,u will learn as much as any good college, but no doubt that u will never wanna take biology again,or at least a class with her. Her weird demeanor is fine,got no problems with individuality, but she holds far too many expectancies on the student while not being perfect herself. Also, she is far too assumptuous&very quick to judge - avoid.

Talks very softly- sit in the front or you won't be able to hear her. Very hard grader, picky, sympathy outside of class doesn't seem to translate to grading. lab reports are pure hell, but if you put time into them, you will survive. try to get an easier lab teacher-if you can't, please please please do the prelab reading!

This is my least favorite teacher at Trinity College. I'm a senior and have gone through the entire Biology department and this woman is by far the worst in the entire department. Avoid her lab section if at all possible. Like's being a female dog just for the sake of being a female dog.

Comment:

She's a caring person and a good teacher; also very funny when you talk to her outside of class. She expects you to do the work, and meet the deadlines, which is I think a good thing, since some students in this class don't take it seriously. Overall my lab experience was great, though I didn't do as well in the course as I hoped due to lecture.
