McGlinn is my favorite professor to date. I have taken multiple classes with him and I can honestly say I was never disappointed. If he does not use a powerpoint presentation make sure you take good notes. He gives you a study guide before each test as long as you study you'll get a good grade. He is an amazing professor!!!

Not exactly an easy A, but if you put in the time and effort it's not too difficult. The class was online so it was textbook heavy. Make sure you read the chapters. Assigns work frequently, but it is expected since it is an online class during a short period of time. Prompt in answering emails. Very good professor, clear in how we are graded.

Took GEO 273 online. You have homework due every week, so textbook usage is very high. Just because this is an online class, doesnt mean it is easy. You do have to study for the exams, which is multiple choice & short answer based and timed.

McGlinn is not the most interesting teacher I've had, he can get lost in what he is saying quite often. That said, his class is easy as long as you show up and listen. The tests are the lectures, and there are no surprises, he tries to keep everything simple and does a good job of it. I enjoyed his class

Material can be difficult and his tests are not at all easy but he gives plenty of chances to improve your grade if you need to (there are bonuses and extra credit papers to do). Lots of studying but an A is a possibility. He does a good job trying to keep the class interested by telling stories because the material can be boring. Great teacher

Really nice guy who has lots of interesting stories to tell that relate to what you are learning. His tests are pretty easy, just study the powerpoints and be able to apply your knowledge to real life situations and you will do fine!

teaches material on exams. you do not need to buy/read the text. go to class, take notes, look at notes, ace the class. do what he tells you for the project and youll do fine. just dont fall asleep in class or you may miss some random fact that will be on the test.

Larry is my favorite professor. His tests are on what he says and he is very clear with his notes and lectures. He treats everyone fairly and is very helpful if you need extra assistance. Tells funny stories and has a great laid back personality. If you show up and do the work you'll do fine.

Took two classes with him and I have to say he's a nice teacher and is open minded which is easier to work with in my opinion. Has lots of interesting stories about when he lived in Taiwan and just about every state in the US it seems. Very helpful and gives you the time if you put in the effort. I'd take another class with him no problem.

I've taken 3 classes with him- he's fantastic. If you're a good student and struggle with the coursework, he won't hold it against you. In fact you may be surprised at your course grade. I deserved a C+ and he gave me a B. Very understanding. TWO THUMBS UP!

Larry is always there if you have questions...sometimes his lectures get a bit boring, then it's time for a video. Worthwhile to take his courses. And, YES he does jump up and down when erasing the chalkboard!! Sometimes very funny.
