This is the second time I have had Dr. Rose. This class was one of the most stressful useless classes I have ever taken in my life. It is hard as a teacher ed student to say a professor is a bad teacher but she is. You'll end up with an ok grade in the class, but you'll go through hell to get there.

This class is ridiculous. SO much work! I suggest taking this class when you have a very light semester and if you are a special ed. major, don't take this class the same semester you take SPE 324. Both classes together create a large workload. She is so unclear with her expectations no matter how many times you ask.

After taking this class, I honestly cannot tell what I was supposed to learn. She is very unclear and inconsistent with her assignments. One giant headache, from start to finish.

This class is very time consuming rather you take it in the summer or fall. Dr Rose helped me out a lot with the case study. The only bad thing is that a lot of the information that is learned is repeated from other reading classes.

Do NOT take this class in the summer. They recommend it, but it was awful. The most unorganized waste of time ever! She is a very inconsistent teacher who does not know what she is talking about. As a person she is nice, as a teacher, awful! Take it during the semester, so you do not have to go through the reading clinic torture!

Ok, the class is very, very busy...it is a 500 level class after all. However, she is not very clear on directions, but she will help you where needed, just be patient. It is only once a week, so it is tolerable, just don't take it with 533.

Comment:
One of the best profs in ELE ed department. After you take one of her classes, you will actually feel like you have learned how to teach kids in your future classrooms. Not easy, but shouldn't you work a little bit to prepare yourself for teaching?!
