Comment:

Shows you step by step how to do the projects. So freaken easy. I got an 89% but he gave me an A because I helped others during class to finish their projects. Tests/quizzes are common sense and some come from the book and his power points. So actually go to class.

Lev is a good and very helpful instructor. He is very patient and understanding. Although he has a thick accent, he is easy to understand, if you get off of facebook, and actually listen to what he is saying in class.

Lev is a very nice guy, but not a very good professor. His english is not very good, but he likes to tell jokes and talk about innovative things in Computer Science. READ THE BOOK and do the quizzes at the end of each chapter and you will get an A in class.

Mr. Lev is a great teacher. He is like absolutely one of the best at UCA.Like the last person stated he is very helpful on projects and willing to let you retake test over that you failed.If you show up for class and pay attention eazy "A".He is highly reccommended in my book to take him.Overall, A wonderful teacher willing to help you at all times

Easy class if you know anything about a computer. A very nice professor. If you ask for help on projects he is very willing. It is very hard to pay attention with information that most people already know but if you half listen, look over the quizzes, and stay off facebook the majority of the time, and do the inclass projects the class is an easy A

Lev is very nice, and tries his hardest, bless his heart. Classes are usually very boring, and his thick accent makes it hard to understand him sometimes. He is funny without meaning to be, anyone who's had him knows "dobble cleek". You get points for showing up to class. If you know what you're doing, it's an easy A. If not, take someone else.

His Russian accent threw me off too much..sometimes I couldn't understand. Alot of times I would look around the room and see many confused faces just like mine. Most of the time everyone is on Facebook and not paying attention but he doesnt ever notice. I thought the projects were too hard and he didnt give clear instructions.

You want to do good in his classes 1)Show up, 2)on any projects do EXACTLY what he says, then add something else (pics, colors, fancy writing, elaboration) and then 3)don't buy the books, I never even opened mine and made an A because if you can understand him (or at least what he's doing) then its pretty self explanitory

Dr. Lev is what everyone calls him. He is hard to understand because he is Russian. Didnt study for a single test and still made a B in the class. 5pts everyday for attendance. So you have to go to class, but you dont have to pay attention. I was on facebook during 90% of this class.

This guy is SUPER nice.The material is boring but his accent makes it interesting.This class is a no-brainer.There's a few projects to do but they are extremely easy and he shows you how to do EVERYTHING in class.He'll always help you.Really nice,and funny in his own way.

ok, i took this class thinking that since i already knew computers, that it would be an easy A. The problem is that you actually cant make an A, because he grades, weird, and you actually cant achieve all the possible points out of an assignment, even if the assignements perfect, you cant get full credit. Boring class, always forgetting answers!

Lev is a great assembler programmer. I am 100 percent sure he is the only person on the planet that still uses it tho. Come to class and have fun, very funny and light hearted. Hard to read he writing sometimes, but still a fun class, I leave the class laughing everyday!

The teacher will help you with whatever question that you have...the only thing is he is REALLY BORING, but go to class you get 4 points a day and that will really help your grade. Also do your practice test he uses the exact same questions and also you have to do your projects...I loved this guy, he is a really nice man.
