extremely knowledgeable about what he teaches, which causes him to expect more from his students but you will learn so much in the class if you put in the effort. accessible outside of class too in case you need him, and he is always more than willing to help. tons of reading and BlackBoard assignments

He's passionate about the subject he teaches, but that's good in a teacher. He expects us to at least be actively trying to learn, so it's hard for those who aren't. He's incredibly helpful & supportive, & available to talk. While I noticed his sympathy for Arabs, I was, as a Jew, not at all offended by him--we had many long talks about Judaism.

Very hard and very obsessed. Sometimes becomes downright unhinged and unbalanced when talking about Arabs who he loves like crazy. Cranky alot, hard to understand, uses fancy words because he cannot explain things in normal langauge.

Lybarger is an excellent teacher and a very intelligent man. I think he has high expectations for his students and truely wants them to learn. The material is not hard but it is necessary to do the assigned reading, which isn't that much. His classes are a worth while experience and you will learn much.

The course: tough as ****. I gave up on keeping up with the assignments. But the midterm/final is all that really counts, and we did team studying of the study guide, and it went well. The teacher: he is very knowledgeable . There is no reason at all to dislike HIM, only his difficulty.
