Comment:

Excellent professor, very laid back, easy going, and very approachable professor. She is what most professors should be like. She gives you all the assignments and allows you to do them at your pace. You can even go ahead and do some of the writing assignments just to get them done and out of the way. Highly recommend this professor.

I took 2 online classes with her and she's great. She does rearrange things a bit, but only in an effort to make things easier for students. she is understanding and provides constructive feedback on work and papers. as long as you do the light assigned readings and post your assignments this class will be an easy A. highly recommend her class!

Easily the WORST teacher I've ever had. Sturm is disorganized, her instructions make no sense, and her messages to students are ridden with grammatical errors of her own. I didn't learn ANYTHING from her! If you want a grade and not have to work too hard, she's great; if you want to actually improve, seek out another professor.

I took Sturm for EN-111 during the summer of 2008; I did not hand in any of the assignments on time; in fact, I handed them all in at once, two days before the "semester" ended. I wound up with an A- in her class. AWESOME! Of course, it might have also helped my grade that she thought I was "gorgeous" (she told me to my face!). Hehehe. She rules!
