Professor Negron has a ridiculously awful teaching style. He spends hours explaining the easy concepts but then flies through the difficult ones. He refers to himself in 3rd person all the time which confuses everyone. He tries to make jokes and be humorous which says that hes only doing that to get his class approval and not actually teach.

You are assigned a lot of homework, but he does it because he wants you to succeed and have a lot of practice. He makes a large effort to help his students succeed if the student shows a desire to learn and do well. Get to class on time, do your homework, and talk to him when you need help. And youll do okay!

I loved his class. Calculus is hard and there is a lot work to do, but it's worth it. I learned a lot with Professor Negron. If you decide to work hard and learn calculus, I recommend him

He is a great professor. He gives a lot of homework which is necessary for a calculus student. He would try to help you pass by giving extra credit activities. He says by the end of the semester students would know how to take limits and understand what is a derivative, so expect that in every single tests.

Professor Negron knows what he is doing for sure. As long as you participate in class, do the work, and ASK QUESTIONS if you do not understand, you'll pass for sure. There is a bit of homework, but nothing a college student can not handle as long as they DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE WEEKEND BEFORE to finish all three chapters of homework in one night!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS WITH THIS PROFESSOR. Unless you are okay with failing. He would not answer any of my e-mails, he gives 80+ questions of homework a week, and he YELLS the entire class. He is easily aggravated and YELLS AND YELLS AND YELLS. Going to tutors doesn't help either, they don't understand his questions or teaching methods.

Professor Negron is a good professor. He wants you to learn, and don't be afraid to ask questions in class. You are only going to learn the material if you ask questions. There is no open book or note during tests, so be sure to memorize all the formulas. You will do well if you do the homework on mymathlab.

Professor Negron is a nice guy (kind of), but he doesn't have very much patience with his students. He often yells at students when he's frustrated with a question. He will expect you to know the past math classes very well(algebra, precalc,trig). You will have to work hard and study often to pass this class . Tutors are your best bet

This was the first math class that I had to study 24/7. The professor/class is extremely hard at first, but it gets easier later on. TIP: Do your homework! If the class does the homework, he will go easier on the exams, if not, good luck. He gives pop quizzes every week, so get ready. If you want to get an A, just do your homework and practice!

As an engineering student he is one of the best professors I've had. He makes mistakes here and there, but thats calc 2. Great professor, just a really tough class. As he would put it "you must make calc dance to your tune." He is very specific with what he wants out of his students and it works really well. Not an easy A but a very fun class.

His class is not hard at all. I missed three days of his class and still managed to pass with a 94%. Homework is on mymathlab and are sometimes long. His tests are exactly the same as the reviews on mymathlab, so be sure to do it. Also participate in class, he gets a lil moody when no one is answering questions. I would definitely recommend him.

Amazing professor. The only issues you'll find is that he expects you to remember some previous classes extremely well. Trig, Pre-Calc, and Calc 1 methods are all a MUST HAVE. Grading is specific but it works. Extremely helpful if you need it. If you want a good grade you are working for it though, no doubts about that.

Negron isnt clear when teaching, which is fine by me because he drops the lowest test grade and 3 of your lowest quiz grades as well as one of your lowest homework grade. What more can a student ask for?! I did have to work fairly hard for this class, because it is strictly based on mystatslab. All of the tests and homework are from there.
