The quiz(10%) and her last two papers(20%+20%) were to be totally done by self. Quiz was just so vague and for the reports she just gave the format and expected us to be perfect. A tough grader. Did not even give examples of how to write the reports. Take some other prof if possible.

I don't know what are the complaints are about. This was one of the best instructors I've had at UFV. She's clear and direct to help you get a good grade. Yes, she's a tough marker, but that only makes you better.

She is very hard grader. She never provides you any idea about anything .She want everything her way .She always proves herself correct and will never listen to you. She only like some students in class and only care for them.

Lynn makes you work for your grade, but it's a fun course. She sticks to the marking criteria like a check list so there are no surprises. I learned a lot about reports.

Lynn is super difficult and hard to please. She provides a clear grading criteria but she is extremely bias on the end result and deducts huge marks for things she just doesn't like. She contradicts herself constantly when marking and its very frustrating. I don't recommend her because she is far from objective on an academic level.

You will have a report due almost every week, but they don't take more than 2-3 hours. You don't need to do the readings. I would suggest attending classes because she does explain and go over everything you need to do well.

Lynn is WAY to detail orientated, you lose marks on the most unnecessary stuff. I do not recommend this prof, gets annoying with her marking techniques

Good teacher you have to be careful though because ass the semester progresses the assignments start to take a huge part of your grade, I was getting an A all semester and then my resume/Cover letter got a C+ and that dragged me down to a B. Fair teacher though I would recommend.

Lynn was tough but great. There were assignments due almost every week but no midterm or final. The final project was time consuming but broken up into manageable parts. Do not except to show up late or miss this class unless you have a solid reason. Lynn makes you work for your grade but sis very clear about what she wants/expects.

If you're looking for an opportunity to learn: Lynn is great. She's is very clear on her expectations, so if you follow her guidelines you will get a good mark. There is a lot you will learn from her, but sometimes she can be rude to students.. However if you participate and just do what she asks, this will be a great instructor for you!

I enjoyed Lynn's class. For the most part she was very clear about what she expected of us. However she's a very difficult marker who will ding you for very small mistakes. I would definitely take her class again.

Worst teacher ive had at ufv, at first she marks easy but after she takes 3-4 weeks marking your stuff and accuses you of plagiarism with no evidence. dont recomend this teacher at all.

Lynn is very clear on her expectations and marking criteria. I was very apprehensive to take a Communications course, but I found it very enjoyable. Work hard, ask for help if needed, and you will do well. I would take another course with Lynn given the chance. :)
