I loved every minute of Marcia's classes. She was extremely helpful and made every class enjoyable. She allowed us to be ourselves and add our own spin on the work while helping us achieve the class goal. I wish I had her for more than just one semester!

Comment:

Marcia Hepps is a gem when it comes to acting skills and especially dialect work. She has the patience of a saint, and is always willing to go the extra mile. She is a mandatory part of the theatre community at large, and without her, we would all be lost. In my opinion she is a vital part of the curriculum.

I really enjoyed Marcia's class. I was asked to push myself and open up to become a better actor. The class was a safe space in which we could explore different characters and scenes without judgement. I still use bits of advice that I learned during the course. Marcia marches to the beat of her own drum and teaches that you can too.

Having Marcia as my teacher shaped my life and career. I use the resources she suggested, I apply her techniques and lessons in almost every professional position I've had. Plus she was passionate and engaging. I even had a little crush on her for sure.

Marcia is without a doubt one the most passionate and dedicated professors out there. Classes will constantly make you laugh and present a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and her student's success is always a priority, though that doesn't mean she'll let you coast through a class.

As a professor Marcia is quite relaxed, but that only enhances her ability to share her breadth of knowledge, and my ability as a student to absorb it all. She does an amazing job at connecting what could become highly intellectual material to the real world with plenty of examples. I have taken away quite a bit of knowledge and new skills! AMAZING

Marcia's class was fantastic! I studied with her my Jr. year at UArts and her class was tied for my absolute favorite (I loved movement too.) Accents can be intimidating, but she provided a clear process for how to learn & study each one. I am now a professional actor working in NYC and I have used the skills I learned in her class in many shows!

Marcia is an incredibly helpful and insightful teacher. Her class is always fun and energetic. Every week we would share new accents and dialects and her feedback was incredibly helpful. We moved fast, but at a pace that let us know that she knew we were intelligent college students that could handle the course-load.
