Sheckels is a mom-type. She is willing to make accommodations, because she genuinely cares about the well-being of all her students. It is essentially an online class, but attendance is 10% of your grade. Super sweet lady!!!!

Dr. Sheckels is one of the sweetest ladies in existence! She really cares about you and wants you to do well in her class. MATH120 is basically applied middle school math which was a good review so idk how anyone fails that class. All work is online in Canvas, which made it super easy (and cheap because no textbook!). Tests were straightforward.

This class is great for those who are not very good at math, but are required to take a math course for a general education requirement. As long as you have an understanding of basic math skills, you will be fine!

Dr. Sheckles is very nice but is OK at best at teaching. The material itself is easy enough but she presents it in a confusing way and sometimes gets confused herself when trying to explain it. If you are looking for an easy gen ed to satisfy the math requirement, this is the class. She takes attendance but class is boring and not always needed.

Such a great teacher. She is so sweet and loves to help whenever you need it. As long as you listen to and study the lectures then the tests are fair. Loved this class! (Do the homework!! It helps a lot on quizzes and tests)

overall the class was pretty easy. She is very lenient on deadlines and is accommodating with a lot of changes. However, most classes did not consist of learning anything useful. No notes or lecture. We were behind all semester and the tests were harder than i expected. She is the sweetest lady, but very disorganized.

yay sheckels! her class is so easy. i loved it because it was my only self-confidence booster the whole semester. she's a very nice woman, & while she does often talk to the class as if they're kindergarteners, it honestly does help you to learn the info in the end...because she goes over it a million times. take her class--it's speaking intensive!

She is pretty cool, though doesn't really make much of an effort to get to know you personally, which I've come to expect from Education professors. The class is easy (assuming you can do 4th grade math). Oh, and this is an Elementary Education class, despite the MATH prefix... in case you were wondering...

She is so easy. She is a really nice lady. The information in the class is presented clearly and you also gain a speaking intensive out of it. You will enjoy it. In fact, I am not a big math person and I like it. It's nothing too hard.
