I took Speech 151 with Berg and it has been so far my favorite class that I have ever taken at the college. He's excellent and getting everyone engaged and by the end of the class, you feel like you actually made friends! He has two exams and about four presentations, but overall the class was easy. Gives lots of extra credit too.

Tests were pretty easy. Only two the whole semester with three speeches and a few misalanious assignments. He gives opportunities for tons of extra credit. I worked all the time and still racked up 50 extra credit points. I left with a great grade. Do all of your speeches and take time on them they are worth a ton of points.

Extremely inspiring teacher, and passionate about his work. If you have three absences, you fail the class. After taking one of his classes, you will want to take them all. Awesome at giving advice and feedback of your work. Has a sense of humor, which makes the class more comfortable and enjoyable. Great guy overall!

Berg is easily one of the most enthusiastic professors I've had. He inspires you to do good work on your speeches, and if you don't he has constructive criticism. He'll meet with you one on one and talk about how you can improve your speech for next time. I'm taking him for two classes next semester!

If you skip on your day to give a speech, you FAIL the class! We always have a blast in this class! He makes it very fun and interesting. Always willing to give feedback and advice. You really dont need to read, but the book helps with studying for the exam (you get a study guide for the first one at least). I would HIGHLY recommend!

I took 3 of Berg's classes at Monroe. All very different and make you think. His assignments are very unique like going to a soup kitchen to have a conversation and spending time with a kinder-gardener. Very easy to bond with people in the class because Berg makes every one open up to each other. Always group projects but it's not hard to pass.

Berg is such a wonderful individual. He is entirely nice and is always there when you need him. Can only miss 3 days or you fail, and class felt like a therapy session. He'll make you laugh, and make the college experience enjoyable.

Professor Bergmooser is able to reach his students in such a great way. I am happy to say I've had him for two classes and would take more. He is an amazing example of a professor that can teach you information that is applicable to the real world and do so without huge essays or long tests. I learned so much in his class!

I liked his class & he is a great teacher. He loves to teach. The only issue I had was how much we had to commit outside of class. Going to a soup kitchen, meeting with a child 3 times then once at the end of the semester for a party & a huge group project. He stated to pretty much call off work if times didn't work. NOT COOL we have bills to!

Without a doubt the best teacher at this college. i was terrified to take this speech class, but i found it to be the class i was most excited to attend because of how relaxed the classroom setting was. he is the epitome of an amazing teacher.

He is the example of what a teacher should be. Someone I will continue to keep in touch with when I have to leave MCCC. Incredible teaching abilities, inspiring role model, and a man of great character.
