His class was not too hard. For the homeworks, he lets you hand them in and the end of the semester, and always offers a re-do for the take-home exams. Exams are pretty much open-ended questions. Better to write more than less. He is a tough grader with exams. Presentations are also easy and simple. if you put enough work, it'll be an easy A.

Good teacher, and the class is setup in a way that forces you to think about the concepts. The exams are all essays, and they seem difficult at the start but if you put work into the re-do then you'll be on course to get a good grade. 3 group presentations, and you receive an A as long as you get up and speak.

There are no exams or quizzes, just a portfolio due at the end of the semester. You should do the challenges as soon as he assigns them or you'll be screwed. He makes you think you're going to fail, but if you do all the work assigned, you will be fine. You really need to think out side of the box for this class. It's a lot of work.

This class is so confusing. Idk what he's talking about half of the time. I feel like the material we are learning isn't really gonna be that "deeply" applied. He wants you to THINK DEEPER. Idk how much further I can think. I would definitely avoid taking this course. It was too confusing.

He's one of the best teachers i've had. He makes you think throughout class, and his lectures are extremely entertaining. He lets you out early every class. There are only 3 exams, which you can redo to get extra points. 3 group projects, that you get an A as long as you present, and an extra credit which if you do correctly you get an automatic A

I left this class everyday with a headache. He expects you to think about a concept, think about it again. Then think about it some more. Then when you're done thinking about the same thing, think again. It was just weird. Avoid at all costs if you wanna get an A in this class.

Wow am I glad this class was in the summer,Hill gave us significantly less marketing challenges than he would in a regular semester,Challenges are questions from book that he asks u to type up.At the end of semester, U turn in all the challenges in a binder Mid semester he gives u a critique of what to add or change,No tests,Not hard like some say.

Hill made 341 easy. He grades fair on the HW. Group Presentations are easy, you just talk about the topic in the chapters being covered. 3 take home essay exams. Questions are easy to grasp, put effort into it and u will get a good grade. He even lets u redo the exam to get more points. Let class out early. Very kind, intelligent & approachable.

He's a really nice guy who cares about his students. However, this class had 7 hw assignments, 3 presentations, 3 exams (take home, essay format) and the material isn't easy. I got an A, but had to work for it. Don't procrastinate. Do the redo's.

How hard can a college class be? Ask Mark Hill. You have to be a theoretical physicist, astrophysics engineer (which he used to be) or extremely wavy off of highly potent hallucinogenics to be on this mans wavelength. Writing papers you have to be high to be as outside of the box as he anticipated. I was stuck doing papers during class time so hard

Excellent professor. Knows what he's doing. No exams, no midterm/final. Grade is based on portfolio, which is compromised of weekly hw assignments (which aren't actually due until the end of the semester). Very approachable - go to him if you need help!!

he tries to scare you into working hard. makes it seem like he will fail you if you aren't thinking "deep" but ends up just grading you on if you did the work required. ended up with an A. still alot of work, though.

this glass was like graduate level. one project determines your entire grade and it's extremely hard unless you are a deep, "out side the box" type of thinker. if it's not what he likes, he will fail you. unfortunately, he's the one one who taught it when i took it.

OMG i had so much trouble writing all his papers, and redo`s , goes very superficial over the material, presentations are easy but many 4 or 5 of them, grading is fair. easy class over all, havent typed so many papers for a course in my life. my typing skill improved :)

One of the best professors I had in my life, a very humble man who wants to bring out the best from you. Yes this class is tough, it is what Marketing is about, it is suppose to be tough. He is very approachable, and has a lot of experience to give a you a lot of good advice. Take him, you might actually learn something.

Dr. Hill is a great professor. This class requires a lot of work for the students and he wants you to learn how to think a lot better. The portfolio that is required is a ton of work and you also need to submit interesting links which is 25% of your grade. My suggestion to you is to not wait til the last minute to do this work.

Dr.Hill is a great professor but the topic is incredibly difficult. The class is a lot of work and requires a lot of time to both write the papers each week and to think about the papers. Dr.Hills teaching style has always kept me confused but entertained. Hard subject, little help, huge paper (150-300 pages)no exams.

Dr. Hill is very intelligent and his class is quite difficult. However, he is helpful and if you are motivated and willing to work hard you will do great in his class. I learned a lot from his class and highly recommend him to Marketing Majors.

Dr. Hill is beyond hard. He demands a lot of work that is in no way easy; and may fail you if you do not do it all. Unless you can keep up with his extreme amount of work or aptitude for creatively thinking and "WAY outside the box" mindset; I strongly suggest you AVOID him.
