I haven't taken math in yrs. Im a "returning learner" and was super nervous about this class. Mr. Willott, makes it easy and fun. He always has time for students!! He is in the perfect position for his personality.

If youre bad at math, take him! He could teach me anything, and Id be able to grasp it. Hes that good. If you struggle with math, take him! He is also very funny and lectures are far from boring. I actually enjoyed his class. I took intermediate algebra with a temporary adjunct and failed, took it with Willott and received a confident B.

I have taken this class twice while I was at SCC and failed both times. my third time taking it with mr. Willott was much different. he is a great teacher and makes sure you know the material. he does not have a problem helping students who don't understand. I finally passed this class and wouldn't have been able to without the help of mr. willott

Took a night class with Mr. Willott for MAT-121. He is absolutely the best! Really good at explaining the material and goes at a great pace. Very funny. Just show up to class and the material will come to you. Im very sad that I can't take my next math class with him. 11/10, you wont regret it!

Excellent professor. He is great at explaining math problems in a helpful and entertaining way. He is hands down the best math teacher I have ever had. I wish he taught more classes at the Community College. The class has a great balance between learning the necessary information without making it too difficult to pass.

Amazing teacher! I always had a hard time with math in high school and was extremely nervous for college level math, Steve made it seem very understandable! I took his class for MAT098 and MAT121 and I would recommend both to anyone!

Mr. Willott explains math in a way that is clear. He gives examples (mostly about food) to help remember every detail there is to the section or problems. He is very personable and approachable. I really wish he was teaching other classes! The test are easy if you pay attention; he gives you test examples in class, so nothing is a shock on tests.

Math at SCC sucks, but Mr. Willott did a good job at teaching. Grades are based entirely on exams, so it was easy to kind of put aside studying since there was no homework. The tests weren't bad, like 20 questions except for 40 on the final. The book wasn't completely necessary in class as he just pulled questions out of it, and for studying.
