Make sure you kind of teach yourself from the book. A funny professor, but doesn't go over things as thoroughly as needed. Lots of homework problems, that are worth doing if you expect to do well.

wendt is the best professor i've had so far. he explained concepts very well, and his lectures were always extremely helpful. he actually cared about everyone understanding the material, too. if you can, get WENDT! (he also allows notecards!)

Great professor, his notes are very clear. Tests are difficult-the questions he uses are all drawn straight from the notes and homework (no book). Do the practice exams, his exams use some of the same conceptual and MC questions, and he just switches up the numbers, although he does throw in an occassional curveball on each test. Overall great

Prof. Wendt is the best chemistry prof out there. His lectures are so-so, but he is funnier than most other teachers. Tests aren't too hard as long as you take notes in lecture. TAKE HIM!

Lectures are helpful, the course overall is fairly easy. He goes through the textbook in a logical manner, so its easy to follow. Almost don't have to read the book because he teaches everything from it. Exams are fair, sometimes slightly difficult, but overall good teacher.

Good lecturer but hard class. Do not read the book, but pay extra attention to lecture and the homework. Exams are curved but extremely difficult because they have some material you haven't seen.

Wendt is the man. He's definitely the best chem 103 teacher. Tests can be a little tricky, but as long as you do the practice exams the exams aren't too bad. Avoid TJ Preston as a TA.

He was a really good prof. There was some stuff taught that i had never heard of before in chem but this guy was still good. you get to use notecards on the exams and everything is extremely straight forward. NOTHING is curved though. so watch out for that. Your grade will 100% be based on how nice ur TA is. I recommend him.

Great professor! He's really fair and takes time to explain things right. If you don't understand go to office hours and he will make sure you do. The homework and class examples are exactly what's on the test. He's kinda geeky but tells a few good jokes once and a while. Demo's are cool especially when he forgets to back up.

He lectures on everything that he tests on. An A is very attainable if you show up to lecture and read the book when things are unclear.

Take this Professor! He is a great lecturer, his homework assignments are low difficulty, as are his weekly quizzes. Tests cover exactly what was lectured on and what he says is on the test. Funny guy in class, also seems kinda shy one on one. Could be the best chem professor in the university.

Amazing professor! The tests cover only what he teaches in lecture, and I rarely cracked the book other than for the weekly 5 homework problems. His practice tests are near identical to the real exams. Very easy to understand, and he does cool demos during class. Definitely one of the better professors on campus. Very easy to get a good grade.

Wendt is my favorite professor. I actually enjoyed chemistry this year. Lectures are easy to keep up with on the later chapters you may need to keep up on the reading. Quizzes and exams are from the notes, and plus you get to use a notecard. Grading scale is easy too. Only concern is that all the labs are done.

Wendt is a good professor! An A is attainable if you study a lot. His tests are based on his lecture notes. Questions on exams are similar to past year's exams..so study those! Wendt is funny and is a good guy. Some topics were confusing..luckily I had a good TA who helped me a lot.
