She was both the best and hardest prof I have had. I wrote so many papers but my writing improved so much. The class was one of the highlights of my day every time we had it. Dengler is hilarious and I wish I could take another one of her classes. Probably my favorite prof Ive had yet.

KSP 151 is the hardest class I've ever taken. There's at least an hour of homework every night and it pushed me hard, but by the end of the class I felt so much smarter. Dengler is a brilliant professor who truly wants the best for all of her students. She seems scary at first but she has a great sense of humor and is an incredible professor.

Only join take KSP151 from Dengler if you are prepared for the hardest thing you've ever done. Worth it? Debatable. Lots of people drop, but sticking with it is pretty rewarding. This class is INCREDIBLY hard, but after it you can do anything, except maybe a Dengler grammar class.

I have never had a favorite teacher in all of my academic career; however, Mary Dengler, through all of her extra help, which was an hour each week plus more outside of that designated time, saved my career as an English major. Professor Dengler would do anything to see her students succeed. She's brilliant. Be brave, and take her classes.

Dengler is the bomb. She's a hard grader, but she lets you think for yourself and causes you to learn more than you ever thought you would. If you actually read the books and participate in class, you'll get 95% more brilliant. Plus, she tells hilarious stories about her childhood...

She is a very enthusiastic teacher. I think she explains thing very well, yet she has her expectations set high. Talk to her outside of class sometime and you will meet an amazing lady who is passionate about English, and wants to help you learn.

She is a hard teacher. Take her English courses if you like English. I think she wants to make everyone an english major, and marks like you already are. Otherwise she's a nice lady, a little kooky but funny.
