This class was way too hard to be elementary.The tests were not easy at all and very frequent. I would e-mail her for help and never hear back. About five people ended up dropping the class after 3 weeks.

Rachel is GREAT. Honestly, she was one of my favorite professors this semester. I went into the class not even knowing if I really wanted to continue with the language and now I'm a minor.

Rachel is the nicest teacher I had. I took 102 with her as well and recommended her to my friends, who this year are taking, and also continuing, with her classes. You have SUPER easy quizzes, one of which you can retake, and easy bookwork and classwork, but you learn a lot still. Very relaxed class. Like I said, she's supernice, so go for it :-)

Rachel (or Rachele as we call her) is one of the sweetest professors that I have encountered. She is very enthusiastic about the language, and makes it fun and easy to learn. I fell in love with Italian, as well as her teaching. :o)
