The best teacher ever. Took her class summer. It was only 4 weeks. I am so glad that i took her class. Everyday had a quiz but not difficult. She helped a lot. She tried her best to make student understand the concept. Number 1. If you do your homework everyday and stay touch with teacher, You will def get an A.

WONDERFUL TEACHER! Her teaching goes along with the pace of the class. Her teaching style makes you invigorated and the time goes by so fast! She's also a native of Japan- so she helps with your pronunciation. And she is so funny! LOTS OF OTAKUs and exchange students from Japan as well :) DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

Very nice and helpful. The class is pretty hard but if you stick to it and study hard you'll get the hang of it. She is also really good if you're a slow learner. She understands that you're learning a foreign language and that it's going to take time. Over all a good teacher:)

I took Masako-Sensei for both HUM 160D & 2 years of Japanese. She is the BEST! She has a fantastic sense of humor and is all around awesome. Very lenient. During second year Japanese she toughens up a bit. Highly recommended!

Simply one of the best teachers I have ever had. She covers a lot of material, but her expectations are always clear. She's very easy to converse with and is happy to answer your questions. She really cares about the students success and makes you feel motivated to do well. She teaches beyond the language and help immerse you in Japanese culture.

I had her for Japanese culture/history. We didn't have a textbook at all, everything was based off of worksheets and lectures. She's hard to understand at times because of her accent but she knows this and isn't offended if you ask her to repeat things. Show up and pay attention, no txting, and save your worksheets!

I took Masako Sensei for four quarters until the last quarter of the 2nd level, and she is my FAVORITE teacher at EvCC. She is SO dedicated to teaching her students, works hard, grades things sometimes the same day she gets them, is very understanding and encouraging and HILARIOUS TOO! I am so grateful to her and loved being her student.

Masako does a wonderful job in teaching Japanese. After a semester in her foreign language class, we began to feel like we're all a family! However, she does ask for a little too much sometimes. However,she lets people get 1/2 points back on quiz retakes!
