Professor is very interesting and funny. The actual class depends on participation by peers. Little homework besides the three major papers. Readings usually aren't terribly difficult. Pretty easy to get a B in, as long you're a decent writer and do the assignments. Overall, definitely worth taking.

Pretty good teacher. I hate English with a passion but he made it bearable. Only 4 total essays with one of the essays being the final. The longest paper was a max of 700 words. I got a B and I had no idea what I was talking about. True honors students should have no problem.

he's really good; he makes it clear that he is there to help, and it doesn't hurt that he REALLY! likes what he's teaching. when it comes to the actual essay, if you're not that good at essays, just go see him for help, follow his instructions, and you'll get an A.

A lot of writing assignments and journal essays in this class. He does speak very passionately about what he teaches and tries to get people actively involved in the assignments, even if his political views do dominate the subject material. He's a pretty cool guy with a fun personality and a great sense of humor. He's even a little lax on homework assignments at times. He takes the time to get to know everyone in class by name, and makes you feel on a somewhat equal level. He is an attractive guy, too :P.
