Señor Medvitz is one of the best professors I've ever had. I am a French major and was looking to pick up a second language for a minor. I was nervous since I had zero Spanish experience, but his teaching style is wonderful and the exercises out of the packet help reinforce what was learned. Highly recommend! Great Professor!

Mr. Medvitz' class seems bad at first, but it gets better as it goes along. If you don't like being put on the spot by being called on randomly, I wouldn't recommend him. It does help you in the long run though. He is very nice and helpful. He usually gives small homework assignments each class.

Prof. Medvitz is GREAT !! He makes learning spanish for students fun and comprehensible. He is very understanding if you do not understand the grammar right away. He is always poking fun at people and making you laugh & the test aren't too bad either just study the notes !! . DEFF TAKE HIM

he's a realllly nice guy, don't get me wrong, but there's a lot of work from packets you have to print out on your own and oral presentations I couldn't handle. he calls on random people every day all of class. he made fun of the people in my class which was funny. he laughs at you but it's not mean. really great guy, just a lot of work. freq tests

so nice and pretty funny. he's an old jewish guy that teaches spanish, and he lived in spain for a while too. if you have any recollection of spanish in highschool then you should do pretty well.. if not then just study and take notes it's really not a hard class. he calls on u randomly but it's not a big deal if you don't know the answer. take him

Helpful man, calls on everyone to make sure everyone understands. If you dont know the answer it's okay. He frequently cuts you off though. I believe this man is prejudice and for the first 2 weeks of class he would not call on me or the other guy who looked like me (we were the only two) and he barely ever called on us told him to drop the class

Medvitz is so incredibly nice. He never gets mad if you don't know the answer. He relates to the students and always will ask questions about their lives, but it is never awkward. There isn't much work and the tests are very easy. He is very nice and cares about your grade. I highly highly recommend him.

Sr. Medvitz is the best professor I've ever had at Towson! The course might go a little fast if you've never taken spanish before, but he gives you packets which have everything you need to know. He's really nice and makes sure every student is learning. I would definitely recommend him!

Medvitz is an alright teacher. He does a very good job explaining tough concepts but he gives a lot of busy work for homework. The thing that bugged me the most is that he cuts you off when you try and answer questions. I always felt rushed when talking in class. Other than that the class was easy and he's a very sweet old man. Book is needed.

Awesome professor! I have ZERO spanish background--now that the class is over i have a mild sense of comprehension. U definitely need the txtbook, but not da workbook. He calls on u but its a good thing. He really cares about his students success and is extremely accessible. TAKE HIM :)

Medvitz is a very good spanish professor. He makes the whole class participate which helps you understand the language better. I hadnt taken spanish in 5 years and have a high A in the class because the excersizes he assigns are very useful. Wants everyone to do well, i reccomend him.

Very helpful teacher, however, you must take notes and study everything because it is all accumulative. Test are fairly easy as long as you study. Study, Study, Study. i can not stress it enough its a must to pass this class. Overall he is a good professor...very funny and calls on everyone!

He is an absolutely amazing teacher! really nice guy. He does like to call on pretty much everyone in the class. But easy class, few quizzes which aren't bad if you study/look over notes, no midterm, and a final. TAKE HIM! REALLY GOOD TEACHER!
