She's very knowledgeable and but easy to understand. Mostly she'll concentrate on the themes of family any women so pay close attention to those. Easy if you participate in discussions so speak up once in while. All in all easy class, good teacher, just do the work and you'll be fine.

This class is very easy. The professor is very kind, and she asks very little from you. You must participate in class, so raise your hand and talk about what you've read. It's a very boring class. I got an A, but I didn't feel inspired or enlightened. Overall, she's nice, and the class is easy. If you wish to be challenged, look elsewhere.

This teacher is absolutely amazing. 3 essays throughout the year, 2 of which are group assignments, a syllabus quiz which is 17 percent of the grade, and participation is 30 percent of the grade. as long as you participate every class (say something valid and related to the topic) you get an A for participation. SUCH A GOOD TEACHER! Awesome class!

pretty easy class just participate and you'll get over 1/3 of the grade already out of the way. 3 essays which are extremely vague but not difficult just remember to pick a good grade, even if you write a perfect A if any of your group members are anything less than perfect you'll get screwed over.

She is pretty laid back and understanding. 3 papers total 2 of which are group assignment, you really have to be an idiot to fail the class. I don't understand why people are complaining about how long the class is when they signed up for a 3 hour class LOL? Don't miss class and participate = A.

She is a pretty lady, very smart and extremely helpful! All you need to do is attend class, participate!! Participation alone is like 35 % of the class grade, you write 2 group essays (40 %) and 1 final essay ( 25 %) and that's it EASY A if you attend her class and participate. She does not give breaks but you are welcome to step out for couple mins

Beautiful lady! She is wicked smart and I loved her class topics. However, she does not give breaks but you can just walk out for a 10 minute break if you need one. I learned a lot from her and you will too!

She is very nice and is helpful with feedback on papers. We had 3 papers, two of which were group papers. Not too hard of a class. Make sure you choose good groups becuase that really makes the grade.

Very nice professor. You pretty much have to go to every class, and the classes are somewhat boring -- especially when she asks a question and nobody responds so there's a minute or two of silence..but that's not her fault. Do the online participation if you have time or say anything in class and you'll get credit. Tests are takehome+no quizzes/hw

This class is boring but you have to come because of participation points. Don't have to read the book skim it and find something to say for points. Your whole grade is based on take-home tests,2 essays, and comments. As long as you do those you should be fine. She's an easy grader, completly bsed my midterm and still got a B. Overall got an A.

Really boring class. Only good thing was there were no tests and you just had to participate in the online forum every week and write two essays. I BSed both essays and got B's on them. Also the forum was simple she would take any response you gave. Most of the time i just put a quote from the book on there and she said good job. Overall easy class

Lectures don't really keep your attention. Just make sure to do all the online responses every week along with the two essays. Attendence and participation are graded. Basically just boring but you gotta do it.

If she still teaches there I recommend anyone to not take her. It's very boring and I felt I was in grade school. You don't learn anything and she plays little games like: what do you think? How do you interpret it? She marks you a low score if you miss any of her classes!

Extremely inflexible and unwilling to accept mitigating circumstances related to personal issues. The class isn't to difficult, but I hope you don't fall ill or have a family related emergency. Your cries for leniency will fall upon deaf ears.

Fallon teaches this course a bit like high school. There are a lot of little assignments like journals and such--but these are prescribed by the department. Participate in the online stuff and you should do fine.
