Professor Addis is a great teacher. He is clear on feedback to students and is easy to contact outside of class. He doesn't like to lecture which would have been nice to understand the material better but is good a facilitating a discussion with the class. Great teacher to have FYI.

Dr. Addis is super kind and helpful! He is very informed on the psychology of gender, and he definitely changed the way I think. His class is very discussion-based and full of thought provoking ideas. Its not a hard class as long as you do the readings and participate. I definitely recommend taking his FYI!

Wonderful professor! Some students seemed to struggle with the material and asked a lot of the same questions over and over, but it's my impression that most did fine. Easy to follow. If you take notes on the examples he gives in lectures (not just slides) and read the textbook thoroughly, you will do exceedingly well on quizzes. Awesome class.

Professor Addis is great. He works hard to make sure all the students understand the material and is very approachable. Not sure why people think he is narcissistic. If you say something relevant to the material that is worth listening to, you've got Addis' attention. Just be sure to do the readings and you'll love the class.

Prof Addis is a cool guy, he is knowledgeable and pretty down to earth. He does seem a little into himself but who isn't? His classes are usually pretty interesting if you make it that way. He is laid back, and his tests are easy if you study the material. I think a lot of the grading is done by TAs so hope for a good one. He's very helpful outside

Fantastic Prof. He's real with us and shares what he knows. Not sure why people think he's self-focused. Sure, he shares stories about graduate school and being a psychologist, but isn't that why we're here - to learn from people like him? Take his class, you won't regret it.

Addis knows what he is talking about and has the clinical experience to back it up with what he has seen. Very interesting guy to listen to, he gives good examples of what he is talking about. Seems slightly self absorbed perhaps, but not to the point where it's bothersome. An excellent professor for this material due to his research experience.

I really loved this guy. He was passionate about his job and I wish I could have learned from him in a smaller classroom. After declaring my major I immediately asked him to be my advisor. He rocks!

Overall a good class. Quizzes were all multiple choice and t/f. Powerpoint lectures were easy to study from on your own time. Addis is really nice and friendly. TA's grade tests and papers so be nice to them and you will do fine.

A very very intelligent man, and a good teacher of general psychology. It would have been nicer to have more time with him to hit all the topics he could have discussed, but I still enjoyed some of his lectures. he's an excellent teacher and a great guy.
