This is a Easy A but you have to read everything! I can't stress that enough. He asks you questions on the material you read and you must be detailed as possible. If you are extremely detailed, you can receive extra credit. I slacked one week and got a 50 on the test and still passed with a A. You also have discussions post every week.

Awesome class, awesome professor. I took this course online and found the reading extremely entertaining and lively. You can tell Professor Buonanno knows what he's talking about and that he is passionate about it as well. There is a lot of reading but the tests are easy to pass, as long as you read EVERYTHING. It's worth it!

The content was not what I expected for lit (it was more the history of lit) so be aware of that. But other than that, this class was great. It's so easy to earn extra points, just be thorough in your answers. There is A LOT of reading, I averaged 8-10 hours a week on this class. HIGHLIGHT the .pdfs to quickly reference for quizzes!

Professor Buonanno was great. Hearing people complain about the amount of reading in an accelerated LITERATURE class is bizarre to me. He knows his stuff, and his passion for teaching is obvious. Hes a fair grader, and I enjoyed his class.

This professor was great! I took his accelerated 6 week online class and it was very interesting! I personally enjoy reading, so the amount of reading did not bother me! I also enjoyed adding my opinion to discussion posts.

I took the 6 week accelerated class online. Honestly, if you work hard, you will finish with an A. He gives tons of extra credit. It's a TON of reading but the readings are very interesting.

Professor Buonanno, is a wonderful teacher. There is a lot of reading in this class, but is it interesting. You have to read everything (no more then 80 pgs) otherwise you won't be able to pass the test. The tests are timed and short answers. There is a discussion every week. Very easy grader that gives extra points if you show that you care.

This class was so much easier than I thought it was going to be. The reading isn't to bad. Discussions are tedious because you have to reply to several comments in order to get full credit. Tests are once a week and they are timed. Its pretty much a few questions and you write a paragraph in response. I never got a grade below 100 on my assignments

WONDERFUL class. Professor Buonanno has decades of field work and experience in anthropology, and has the knowledge to back it all up. His text is an absolute pleasure to read, and he is wonderful at discourse. There is a LOT of reading involved, though, so prepare yourself. Quizzes are essay answers, so you have a lot of freedom in interpretation.

Always gives good feedback. Reading is required and provided no textbook needed. No more than 80 pages. But you sit down read some do discussion/ take a quiz. The quizzes are timed but its common sense questions if you did the reading and he doesn't grade grammar just the amount of detail you put. I was scared by some comments but class was easy

Difficult reading, 70-100 pages per week. Not classic literature as expected, super long reading assignments with no outlines, no bulleted points, just reams of awkward HORmanuscript by the teacher, online. (No textbook) 2-3 deadlines each week for online discussion posts and tests with super vague instructions, you never know how its being graded.

So many awesome things to say but so little space. I took his online Into to Anthro class and was able to chat with him many times about the material we read, in person. Very knowledgeable and also helpful when it comes to exchanging ideas. If you don't like to read, don't take his class. I read roughly 400 + printed pages through out the semester.

No textbook required, he uses his own writings. Be prepared for literature of sexual nature. Pretty obscure literature is used and discussed. It might be easy if you like very long and wordy things written by the teacher, like a seventy page article of his own opinions that you must discuss back to him, but I felt it was a waste of time and money

There are 60 to 70 pages of reading per week. He is a tough grader but does give a lot of extra credit. The discussion posts are very open and are able to express your opinion. The quizzes are tightly timed. if you do not do the reading, you won't pass the quiz. All in all he is a fair professor and I enjoyed his class.

I took this class in need of a Gordon Rule requirement, at first I thought there was a ton of reading, however once you get started the course is a breeze. I actually thoroughly enjoyed my readings each week and looked forward to the discussions with my classmates. A class I thought would be tough ended up being one I was grateful to take!

I took Buonanno, as he frequently calls himself, years ago and I highly recommend taking an in-person class with him. He's entertaining and super smart, funny, and just a really awesome professor. There used to be a line to talk to him after class, and despite his warnings against it, so many of my classmates became anthro majors because of him.

As most online classes, there's a main post and two response posts due every week - one quiz each week. I took the Intro to Anthro 8 week course. 6 weeks of 60-70pg modules written by the professor himself. I was going into this class with negativity and finished it pleasantly surprised. Participate and read modules in entirely Easy A.

If you're taking this as the 8 week course, be ready to read. You have one discussion (with strict guidelines to follow) and one quiz every week. The reading material is extremely long and boring - to me, sometimes not even relevant to the course itself. A lot more history than literature. He is a tough grader and expects you to know all material.

Easiest class I've taken at SCF. It's an 8 week class that flies by, NO FINAL, NO TEXTBOOK! All your reading is free online & provided by him. One discussion & one test per week. I didn't even read the stories and still got an A thanks to Sparknotes. TAKE THIS CLASS!
