Comment:
Professor Malkovich is a really nice guy who is probably a lot better at being an attorney than a professor. He gives very bland lectures and bases the midterm purely off what he says in class. There's an article assignment, online quiz, essay assignment that he allows outlines to be submitted, and the final exam. Straightforward but overall boring

Take him over the other Business Law teachers. Class can get boring and he is not the best with technology but the class is not difficult. The midterm and final are very straightforward and very in line with the study guide he provides. Missing a few classes isn't a problem as long as you go to the ones before the exam.

He's a nice teacher, but sometimes things get boring and I stop paying attention. I never used the textbook, everything you need to know will be said in class. For the most part to get an A, just finish all assignments - there was only a compilation of articles, a short essay on an article, a midterm and a final exam (just study what he gives you)

In class exam, take-home exam, short paper (5ish pages & do it with a partner), a quiz, and an easy article assignment. The first exam will determine your grade, so take notes on every word he says in class and read half of A Civil Action. Call him with questions, it's awkward but you can get hints that others wouldn't (i.e. exam questions)

Professor Malkovich is a great guy. Although the class was an hour and fifteen minutes, the class seemed endless. There was barely any work the entire year until finals week. He rarely answered emails and there was no feedback on the essay, quiz or final exam, which was the majority of the final grade. Don't usually have to go to class.

One midterm, take home final, and research paper. Pretty sure he just guesses your grade at the end of the semester - he doesn't really care about the grade but wants you to come to class and listenenjoy. No attendance. Hard to focus at 8am (most don't show up), but worth it if you keep going to class. Interesting guy, boring voice though.

Ridiculously boring. Unbearable if you have it at 8AM. Malkovich is a nice guy, but you have no idea what grade you are getting until after the semester. Study for the first exam, it's tricky. Very unorganized class. You don't get your Research Paper or take home Final Exam back, or get any feedback. I assume i did alright, since I got a B+.

Awesome professor that doesn't give homework and is very interesting to listen to. Not a typical boring law class but he inspires interest in the material. First exam was impossible but there is a take home final. Did not use the book. Most students complained they had ton of work but Michael is laid back but still difficult with regard to tests.

Zero attendance needed. Textbook not needed too, dont waste your money on that. He has a tendency to go off-topic, but class is interesting from his real life experiences. Some things on exam weren't even taught. Final was open book, so thats a plus. People tend to do badly on the first exam, so study hard for that. Assignments relatively simple.

An aloof old man with a penchant for dragging on the lecture in monotone fashion. terribly unorganized and gives no feedback whatsoever.

I was falling asleep the first two weeks and thought of switching classes, I'm glad I didn't. Professor Malkovic is very comprehensive and flexible. Class might be a monologue but you learn a lot. One midterm one final one research paper. Throw the syllabus away as it isn't followed.

Very straight forward class. Book not really needed at all and attendance isn't mandatory. 2 exams, 1 HW, and 1 paper. All graded pretty easily, but you don't get much feedback. Probably the easiest MGMT 260 professor to take.

Awesome guy, really laid back. Likes lecturing but doesn't really care about the grade too much. One homework, one paper, two exams. He won't give you feedback but as long as you go to class, pay attention, and study for his exam, there is really no excuse not to get an A.

Definitely one of the nicest and chillest professors here at UMass. Only 1 homework, a midterm, research paper, and a final. Final is open-note. Also very understanding if you have trouble with any assignments. Only con is that lecture may get boring at times and graded exams/assignments take a while. Take him if ya can.

Very nice, chill guy. He always pushes back deadlines so nothing is ever due on time. Easiest professor for this course. Only one paper.

He's a really nice guy but I have not learned much in this class and staying awake was always a challenge. There's no homework. He's lenient on assignments and often extends deadlines. When it comes to grades you will be in the dark about grades since he will only hand back your first exam and he will not explain the somewhat arbitrary grading.

Quite frankly, this is one of the most pleasent suprises during my tenure at UMass... If you go to class you learn alot through his experience as he constantly sites examples from his career... There is virtually no homework, the midterm is a complete breeze, as is the final. Definitely take this class if you have the opportunity.

He's an interesting teacher, since he can add perspective to the material as a current lawyer in NoHo, but he doesn't really give any guidance as far as grades, so you spend the entire term in the dark as far as what grade you can expect.

Great guy, and very laid back...definately best law teacher out there cuz all the others make you do an insane amount of work and give quizzes all the time. 2 exams and a paper...EASY!!!!
