He cares A LOT. There are a lot of assignments that are textbook based but they help when is comes to studying for the tests. He is willing to meet outside the classroom if you are struggling. I definitely recommend him!

If you take this class just be prepared to do homework, several essays, and exams. The homework isn't hard, he allows people to paraphrase what is in the textbook. What is on the homework is on the exam and as well prompts in essays. Professor Romano is lecture heavy but engages with the class and provides videos and handout sheets. He CARES a lot!

He is very loud so sit in the back, also gets angry when you dont know the answer to a question, He grades the assignments harshly and the term paper harshly. His test are okay! You have to study!! Would not take again, he thinks history is an important class when its completely useless to almost all of our majors

Dr. Romano is a nice old man who is extremely passionate about history. His lectures aren't based off of slides, they're oral with handwritten notes on the chalkboard. He deeply cares about his student's success & puts the textbook on reserve in the library so you don't have to buy it. The tests can be difficult and the homework is tedious.

Professor Romano is very caring & helpful teacher. I absolutely loved him as a person and learned a lot about world history. I would definitely recommend him. My only warning is to NOT procrastinate. He doesnt give much work but the due dates will creep up on you. Put forth effort in your work, he will grade harshly if not.

Professor is very accommodating of your needs. Be good coz he will be good to you. Print out the material he puts on Blackboard and do the assignments which are due all at once before the exams. Go over the study guide and you will be fine for his tests. he gives you candy at the end of exams too. I actually remember what he thought us.

He's sooooooo passionate about history. He's funny at times. Sweats a lot. I would take him again if I was a big fan of history. He gives a study guide of whats going to be on the test, so you can ask him questions and stuff. It was overall a good class.

Prof. Romano is a good online professor. He really helps you learn the material. He assigns two weekly assignments due on Wednesdays and Fridays. I really enjoyed taking his course. His online assignments truly prepares you for the final which is four essays. I recommend him! Readings no more than 15 pages.

Very nice and funny dude. Lectures can be long and boring at times but he tries to make it lively. Expect a final paper due a the end of the semester, a midterm, test and final along with assignments due at every test. His work can seem tedious if you procrastinate. Also gives extra credit opportunities.

An awesome professor for global. Each week theres a reading and an additional assignment which gets a bit annoying after awhile, but they're short and easy enough. As long as you're on top of your work and frequently check blackboard, it is an easy class.

Best teacher by far this semester. He is REALLY there for you. Started the midterm out with a C but finished with an A. This was thanks to his 2 page extra credit papers that are worth a point each (5 in all. After my first C on a test he helped me on every exam that followed including the final. Gives one 5 page paper that is straight forward.

He has a very clear schedule and is very helpful. This class takes a lot of work and you need to study to pass. He does not expect too much from you because he is clear from the start about exactly what he wants. He is an old school teacher, no cell phones, no food, youre in school to learn and get a good grade type of attitude.

History has never been my subject until I took Dr. Romano's class! He's very passionate about history. He's such a caring guy who greets his students individually to make sure they're doing well and not having trouble with the material. The workload for his class is a lot, but it's manageable. Overall, a great professor that will make you learn! :)
