I really liked this class. Not too tough, but this professor is very specific and knows what he wants. Stick to the syllabus exactly and you're guaranteed a good grade. I found Dr. Kasum to be really knowledgeable, easy access, loves writing and liturature like I do. Be ready for surprise quizzes. Overall, he's one of my favorite teachers.

He was a horrible teacher. I went against the way he thought about a subjuct on one of his papers and he gave me a D. I've always aced papers and comp classes and I had to withdraw from his class. He acts as though everyone is an English major, and is to into it. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.

Avoid Avoid. This guy needs to retire. I did learn more from him than my comp 1 professor, but I only reproduced papers that this guy has written over and over again for years, pretty boring. I always get A's in english courses and I got a B in this course b/c I tried to write with some originality, he said it lacked style so I lost points. BS

This is a great class to take. It's an easy grade and you always know exactly what's expected of you, because Dr. Kasum is very specific with what he wants in his papers. He let's you know when he is going to quiz you on the reading... and the articles he assigns you to read aren't all that bad. Also, he is very understanding and approachable.

Dr. Kasum is a bit older, but I think he is cutee and he cracks me up :D There is lots of work and essays, but he is very very clear on what he wants, and how he will grade it. So as long as you stick to the course pack's instuctions for the essay, you will do fine. He has a huge heart, and is always understanding and willing to help.

He's a great teacher overall, be prepared to write a lot and take random quizzes, but as long as you follow the syllabus in the course packet. hes a tough grader, but he's always willing to help and even gives kids the chance to re-write an essay.

This is a very boring class, he is very old and talks really slow. He is very picky on the papers and if it isn't EXACTLY what he asked for in the Course Packet, than it won't be graded nicely. Keep up with the reading, he has random quizzes.

great teacher, knows alot about english and very nice and helpful. i got an A on every paper and didnt even try very hard. it also prepares you for enc 1102, they even do some of the same papers in comp 2 that he did.

He was very hard but if you did what he asked, you got good grades. You can't slack off and make an A or B because he can tell from your writing. He did that with me one time. I got a D on my first paper and A's and 1 B on the rest. If you want to learn and want a good teacher he is it!!!

Dr. Kasum was the best teacher i have ever had, he is very organized, he doesnt give busy work, only about 5 good assignments and hes extremely nice, helpful, and flexablie and really cares about his students, I highly recomend taking his class.
