Lectures tend to be a little dry, but other than that he's a great teacher. Very helpful and understanding and actually knows what he talking about.

Needs to retire. The textbook he prescribes is useless. He is impossible to follow in lecture and unfortunately teaches entirely from lecture. His grading method is confusing and seems to be very opinion based. When asked questions his responses aren't usually helpful and very confusing. If your drawing isn't how he did it back in 1903 its wrong.

His lectures are useless and so is book. He teaches to few CAD students in a class of non-CAD majors and leaves everyone else behind. Never had a teacher more disconnected from a classroom. The class is easy but you teach yourself. He is very helpful when people have problems, which is all the time, cuz he doesn't teach you anything in lecture.

Cauley has seen it all when it comes to CAD. He was around when you had to use pencil and paper, and hes here now. He knows a wealth of information about CAD. The problem is, if you don't, you better go to the free tutoring sessions. They have saved me this semester.

For an Old Guy he really knows what he is talking about. He is always willing to help. He is very flexable. His lectures a VERY boring. He will put you to sleep. Talks off topic alot. His written tests are hard. He says they are out of the book but I don't know where. He never uses the textbook he assigns. Don't waste your money on buying one.

Let's just say if you get anything less than a B in ANY of his courses either you didn't show up for class, didn't do your HW or never asked him for help. There was never a time when he wouldn't drop what he was doing to help me or anyone else for that matter.

If you already have any kind of background in autoCAD, this class is a breeze. As a matter of fact, as long as you go to class and to the homework, this class is a breeze. Dr. Cauley is always willing to answer your questions and he accepts drawing assignments late as long as you show that you are trying. He is an overall great professor.

Dr. Cauley is a good instructor, and willing to help if you have a problem. Some of his courses are hard to understand, but it's me and the course, not him.
