Do all of the work and you'll pass easy class his classes are boring as long as you get the study guide and take the test and papers you don't really have to show up for the class also don't bother buying the book's just use quizlet

Comment:

Graded by 4 exams including the final and 2 papers. Doesn't grade papers too hard and exams all have a study guide. Showed up to class like 7 times the entire semester because I just took the study guides, grabbed the book, and memorized the specific things given on the study guide.

Comment:

Very nice man and a great professor. If you work hard and show up to class you will have no problem with getting a good grade. 3 exams (2 and then the final) gives you the questions ahead of time so you can write out your answers and memorize them before the exams. As long as you do that you will do fine on exams.

This professor was one of my favorites and he made my freshman year a lot less hard. Attendance is not mandatory and we only had three tests throughout the course, including the final. Not a hard grader, open to helping students and gives study guides that are EXACTLY what is on the test. He talks fast, be prepared to take notes.

Comment:

The lectures were terrible to sit through because they were so dry. While the crusades are interesting, the way they were presented was very bland. There were no tests, just 5 four page papers and one 10 page paper. Pretty bearable W course overall, but the writing assignments were vague. It's impossible to get an A if you don't participate.

Decent teacher, his lectures are just long. His class mostly consists of about 4 tests, some map exercises and primary source analysis. Pretty easy assignments, tests aren't that easy if you haven't been there for the lectures. Take notes when you're there; will provide study guides but doesn't always write relevant notes on the board.

Professor Judd is amazing! The lecture are so informative! He's a fantastic storyteller. I didn't feel like I was hearing about events thousands of years ago. I felt like the events were recent and he really gave the people we discussed personality. The assignments are not extremely hard, the book is a bit dense but good professor!

He is so nice. Most of my classmates thought his lectures were boring, but I enjoyed them. He is knowledgeable on the topic. The class is very easy. Pay attention to the lecture and you'll do great. He gives you a study guide with everything you need to know for the midterm and final.

Made the history of the middle east fascinating! He's very clear on what he wants, and the tests and papers aren't so bad as long as you go to class and take good notes. Plus, he's really sweet and funny. Definitely a good class to take.
