Very easy and basic intro to using a camera and photoshop, however projects usually felt out of touch with the corresponding lessons. Very easy grader, put in any effort and you'll get an A. If you want to know how to use a camera and edit photos, this is a great intro but felt very lacking for any challenge if you didn't have experience already.

Very sweet, as long as you participate. Sometimes a little unclear, but no big deal. It was a good level for a newbie at photography like myself. Interesting range of projects. Flexible: I couldn't handle Photoshop, and don't want/need to learn it for what I want to do in drawing and painting, and he was ok with that.

Mitch Taught a lot of good technique and always gave feedback. He does go on tangents and isn't always super clear and concise. His feedback was usually useful but it was also very long and didn't always make sense. I couldn't tell what his standards were when he'd critique someone for doing something he praised another for. Overall, good

Mitch is the best! Expert, approachable, enthusiastic, motivating, clear expectations, clear assignments, holds the bar high and knows we can reach it! He's meant to teach, sees the uniqueness of each artist, helps us to be better artists, asks us to push ourselves and show up. If you're thinking of photography, you need a class with Mitch!

Mitch has a really great energy and makes all the technical parts of photography very exciting! He's extremely approachable and finds potential in everyone and everyone's work. The crits, however, are lacklustre on things that can be improved. Regardless, I highly recommend him. :)
