Redlo, oh my god. His classes are an absolute treat, he will tell you stories that distract you from the fact that you're in class. Then, moments later, he will connect that story to the topic at hand and you start to grasp the concepts faster. In no time at all you will start telling people that capital is not money. Take him, you will love it.

A great teacher with great real life examples. Took both macro and micro with him and enjoyed both very much. I use the skills I've learned almost everyday outside of the classroom as well as in other classes.

Participation matters. Like a lot. But its a fun class and you will probably want to participate. Its not very hard as long as you pay attention in class and occasionally participate. He's entertaining to watch at the very least.

Professor Redlo is honestly one of the best professors I've ever had in college. I took EC 111 over the summer and the class only lasted a month. I learned so much in one month. Microeconomics is not an easy class wherever you take it or whoever you take it with. Redlo made economics so enjoyable and relatable to your life. 10/10 recommend him.

If you like to listen to life stories and learn things that aren't in the textbook then Redlo is your guy. Just score at least an 19 out of 25 on each exam and you will do great. Oh yeah don't ask questions that can be answered by reading the syllabus!

He is a decent teacher, but a few problems. He grades only off four multiple choice tests. If your a bad test taker, dont bother with this class. He does go off topic a lot, and really likes to brag about how much money he spends, and has. This is really annoying and somewhat awkward.

Professor Redlo is a very smart and funny man and he knows what he is talking about when it comes to economics. I strongly recommend taking him for any economics class. Only 4 tests the whole semester. No homework. No quizzes. He doesn't take attendance after the first couple weeks. But if you miss his lectures you will fall behind so go to class

One of my favorite professors. Uses real world examples so things are easy to understand. 4 tests + participation make up your grade. No HW. Participate and he'll raise you a letter grade. If you have any problems talk to him and he'll work with you. You can get by with no textbook bc you only need it for tests. Will take him for eco 112 also.

Redlo is an economic genius and will solve all economic conundrums, usually in class, but if your problem is big make an appointment. Your grade depends on four 25 point tests, so pay attention, ask questions, and study. Not even death will absolve you if you miss a test. If you know you are going to miss a class or test, tell him. He'll help you.

Took him for ECO111 and ECO112. Very good at explaining and keeps lectures interesting. Good guy and kind of cute for an older man. Grading systems tough and the exams have a lot of critical thinking. No homework just 4 tests but if you go to class everyday he will boost your grade a letter grade.

Very funny professor and keeps it interesting. However, tests are very tough and make you think. A lot of applying and not memorizing but that's college. Only 4 tests given with 25 questions each so each question wrong is a percentage off your grade. Work hard and it'll be a fun experience.

Comment:
The Macro Economics course that Professor Redlo teaches can be tough for some but this teacher is able to use great class discussion, clear grading expectations and group work to help all understand the material with relative ease. He is well respected by the students and makes an effort to know each individual student. Funny guy and great class!
