This professor doesn't help you at all. He doesn't do anything and what he does write on the board is useless and has no coherence to what we are actually learning in class. Terrible Terrible Professor. You think the head of the math department would be able to actually do the problems right on the board also, but he constantly makes mistakes.

Had to get help on every homework assignment and you would think this guy could speak english well based on his pic, but his lectures saturated with "uhh/umm/so/y'know/ok" 1st test average 47% when no curve was planned, doesn't write on board b/c too sloppy, makes PDF for lecture and just scrolls down, constantly stares at clock, AVOID THIS GUY!

He used a book written by some retired professors form UI. The book was terrible and he even complained about it because it was poorly written unorganized but he insisted on using it. He also thought that if the book didn't it he didn't have to either.
