I think the rater below had the wrong "Williams".. she doesnt teach english. Prof. Williams is a great teacher, she does care about her students, but has a low tolerance for ignorance. Questions for tests and quizes are straight from the book and online practice tests. Its not hard to get an A in this class.

Took the online class. In the orientation, my first impression was that she was rude. Talks in a monotone. I didn't find the rock test hard, it's important to attend as many rock labs as possible. The other 4 test were excruciating to me, but I made a B in the class. Her lab asst. Loree is really nice and helpful.

Maybe I am just crazy but I found this teacher easy as hell. At you have to do is take notes on her lectures (Mono tone and wandering at some points). You do not even have to read the book, just go over your notes. The hardest test is the first one on minerals and rocks.

I took her distance learning class (not text based)and I really enjoyed it. I don't take too many distance learning classes and her online class worked out great. Make sure you go to at least one rock lab though. Just using the rock kit won't cut it.

Very hard! Boring. Her tests are killer, you can study until you drop dead and still manage to fail it. Don't take her for Earthscience, I took the text based version, it's a lot of work for a small grade.

Don't let grandma fool you, she can be rude and does not stay on task. If she can't stick to the material, how are students supposed to stay focused? She'll say things once and if you ask her to repeat it, it's like asking for her kidney.
