This man barely helped when I needed him. You never know what to expect on the exams. He says that everything he talks about in class will be on the test, but then somethings that you never discuss, will pop up on the exam. If you can avoid taking him and this class, do so. The book was somewhat a waste of money. Only used it for practice problems.

Comment:

Easiest teacher in the world of Finance. Knows his stuff and teaches great. Just make sure to ask questions if you dont understand. Test are fairly hard if you miss even 1 class and dont practice the examples he gives you. You have to practice the exact problems he gives you and the test will be easy. No multiple choice though :(

This man is crazy with the project he makes the students do. He also has crazy tests, and no multiple choice. Take Hughes. He is hard, but at least you don't have to memorize sooooo many formulas that you won't use, bc they are different than real-life formulas!!!

The grade for this class consists of 3 exams plus curves. The exams come from a test bank written by the author of the textbook. They can be quite hard if you don't read the book. The last exam covers about 120 pages. Be prepared to start reading for it SOON after exam 2. The book is confusing at times; so go to class too, expecially for exam 1.

Maybe it was just because I had him once a week, but this class was overly hard, and he expected us to know a ridiculous amount of material. This is why 3/4 of my class failed. He might know what he's talking about, but his class is info overload!

he is great. go to class and you will do fine. what he goes over in class will be on the test. fin is hard he makes it easier. ask lots of questions too. when the class is over you can go back to him for help for over classes like bus 458!

Hard grading scale (95-100 is an A). He's a fun professor and makes class enjoyable. He gives real world examples of problems and makes you think. The exams have no surprises on them, and if you know the material, you should do well. Lots of formulas.

i had to take the class & glad to have him heard Bland was horrible.Dr. Riley explains it extremely well & he uses his own stories to help you out.TAKE HIM if you need the class.He is GREAT.VERY FRIENDLY & wants to help out his students and EXTRA CREDIT!!
