Awesome Professor. Lab assignments are fun (especially demo's). If your taking this class then you should be comfortable with C. Even though textbook is not required, having it is nice (I have 2 of them) because many of his lectures do not contain text. He expects that you understand linear algebra as well as classical mechanics and dynamics.

He is OK. Nobody liked quizes, and many people did bad on them. BUT if you do the actual labs, you should be fine. A couple of suggestions: don't miss classes, especially if there will be a quiz; start the lab immediately, once you get it. There will be 2 labs that are sort of difficult and time-consuming. Be ready spend a lot of time in the lab.

He's pretty funny and makes lectures enjoyable, but he needs to change the format of his class. I did well but I don't think I learned a single thing. And I completely lost my interest in robotics.

Doc Brock is so much fun. He knows his stuff, and it shows. Any field from Anthropology to Zoology can find its way into the course material with clear relevance. There is, however, one video in the slides that he needs to retire....
