Comment:

Pam is the worst teacher I have ever had. She does not give anything back in a reasonable timeframe. The test and homework are confusing and she her grading is even more confusing. Pam is very disorganized and is scatter brain. Worst class I have ever taken. Would advise not to take any classes with her because she is a terrible teacher.

Pam, is completely disorganized when teaching. She is very rude. If you miss a class, you get docked pretty bad. This is a stupid policy when you pay for school. Her grading is disorganized and unfair as well. She provides chicken scratch feedback and is completely unfair with grading. If your not in her clique, good luck.

Comment:

She is by far the worst professor I have ever had, and I am almost a 4.0 student. I evaluated instructors in my previous career. She violates every rule of good teaching. She is completely disorganized. It is okay for her to be a mess, but you cannot make a mistake on assignments. It is amazing she has a teaching job at all.

Pam knows the material well. She can be a little scatter-brained, but is very, very nice, funny, and friendly. She is always willing to help, and responds to emails quickly. She is very clear about what she wants for the homework assignments. She will tell you exactly what material will be on the exams. If possible, I would take her again.

Probably one of the funniest yet weirdest professors I have ever had. She is very dynamic, lets go with that. But I learned a lot in that class. She is willing to help you out. Though quite stickler on aspects regarding her classroom rules, homework format, and due dates.

Had no idea what i was doing wrong until it was too late to do anything, teacher is very sporadic and hard to follow, and non of her notes on the board were transferable or useful.

Little organization to her lectures. Routinely falls off-topic. Definition questions need to be answered verbatim or they're completely wrong. Frowns on creativity. If homework is not completed the way she would have done it, points are deducted.

You need to be writing the programs over and over again on the side but she wont tell you that. Going to class is a must because that is where she shows you step by step everything that needs to be in your program. There is homework every week but it wont get back to you for a couple weeks. Go to her office hours she is super friendly.

Pam is very interesting. She makes her classes very enjoyable. The difficulty lies in the fact that because she jokes so much it is difficult to follow the lectures (even for her). Overall, she is a great individual and makes learning fun. Her tests are somewhat difficult, but she is very approachable and willing to help.

If she stays on topic, the notes on the board from the lecture contain everything you need to know for the quizzes. Toward the end of the semester be sure to read the sections in the book corresponding to the lectures because she leaves out some small details that will be on the test.

Professor Carter is a hilarious person and a wonderful teacher, sometimes gets quite off track. If you show up and copy down all the notes she writes on the board, you practically have the answers to the quizzes and homework. She will work with you and is very flexible.

Pam is a great person, but her classes leave much to be desired. Most of the students in the class agreed it was far too easy and was not worth the time. Little worthwhile content was taught, much of the class was spent with her going on tangents. Although interesting much of the Unix/Linux information covered was severely out of date.

Pam is terrible! She does not return homework until the end of the course and is absolutely zero help to anyone in her classes. She does not allow you to speak to her about the homework assignments but assigns them every week without giving you adequate information on how to complete them. This class and professor is a disaster! Do not take her!
