Professor Mason is a wonderful lecturer. I had his class at 8 am and I didn't miss a day and also never had a hard time staying awake. Utilize the help room and extra credit because you have to work for the grade that you want. He's a funny guy and relates class to real world examples.

Professor Mason is my favorite professor I've ever had. His lectures tie right into the lectures, and the stories he tell make you enjoy the class. I took this class at 8 am and never had a problem staying awake. I wish I could take him again.

Professor Mason is a great teacher! I was not doing very well in the class and he helped me get back to a point of success and allowed me to get the A I worked hard for. His lectures some days could get dry, but thats just accounting. Professor Mason tries his best to keep students engaged because he know accounting isnt the greatest. Great Class!

Good professor, funny makes you work hard for your grade, if you are taking the class, my honest opinion, do not skip extra credit, because the final it's IMPOSSIBLE, and that will make your grade like a cushion.

This was a great class! prof. Mason was a very good lecture teacher and loved to hear student input on class material. very clear in his teaching and always was willing to answer questions in class with 750 people. I highly recommend him in any accounting class. Prof. mason actually got me thinking about being an accountant...

Paul Mason is an absolutely wonderful professor. There's no reason you shouldn't pass this class with the amount of extra credit offered. There's a lot of homework but it isn't difficult if you utilize the help room and SI sessions. It is a lot of work but you get a lot out of the class. He also has a great sense of humor.

Prof. Mason is competent, but is occasionally unable to communicate a particular idea succinctly. In ACCT200, make use of the extra credit opportunities and make sure to attend all lectures as well as TA sections. Make use of the TA help room as well.

Mason's hilarious but very difficult. Two of the three textbooks are necessary. The class itself is extremely difficult. I emailed my TA almost daily for help and there's also a help room that I should've gone to more often. Over all, a doable but difficult class.

Paul is a fantastic professor, he genuinely cares about his students and structures the class so that you will retain information (both accounting and life lessons) outside of the class room. The tests can be brutal and you will have homework daily, but if you are willing to live in the help room, anyone can get an A.

He does a great job of going through the material slowly so that you can learn it. He gives a ton of extra credit and the tests aren't too bad. There is a lot of outside work for this class, but it's not difficult. He wants all of the students to succeed, so if you struggle in accounting take it with Mason and he will help you through it.

Mason is hilarious and makes the class enjoyable (for what it is) but he is not always clear. Definitely go to the help room if you're having trouble. Reading the book is not strictly necessary, but it will help A LOT, especially if you read it before class. Overall a good class, but very difficult with daily homework and tough tests.

His sense of humor is awesome and he is a very personable teacher. Huge lectures but you're broken up into classes by TA. Homework always but it's only one or two problems that definitely help in long run for exams. Have to go to class and probably want to be interested in accounting if you take it.

Cheesy humor keeps the class awake. He does as well as he can, teaching a class of 900+. I can not stress enough, if you are struggling AT. ALL. go to the help room in Summerfield. I made like 1/2 my friends in college in that room. That's the only reason I got an A.

One of the best teachers on KU. He is very funny and knowledgeable, and he knows what he is doing. The class is not easy, you have to be willing to put some effort. There are homework and quizzes almost everyday, so be prepared for that. It is an easy A if you do all the work, and there are a lot of extra credit opportunities that can help you.
