It's on online class, you do homework once a week and discussions. He has a super strict grading criteria. On the paper you do, be very careful because they grade harder than my english professors. Intrusions are very precise, so read carefully. Not easy, you have to really work, and the content is boring too. Don't take it.

Comment:

Dr. Waller is a great guy, and he teaches ABE 205 very well, however, he does not understand the material he should be teaching in ABE 423. Many times we asked him questions and he didn't know, and instead asked students to explain it to him. The book itself had mistakes and was very unclear. Really disorganized course, take instead AME 301.

Waller is a good guy, but he isn't a traditional teacher. You really have to work on your own to be successful in this class. Tests aren't too bad, he gives study guides and practice tests for the exams.

He is an awesome teacher! He is chill, but sometimes doesn't have all of the answers if you ask questions. He will not give you the answer to problems, he will make you solve it yourself. Answers to some questions are found online. Overall great teacher to have.

Hybrid online class. He REQUIRES you to go on about six field trips for grades. Two of them are a long drive and you have to pay for them. His class feels so unorganized and he doesn't give you any real guidelines on the research paper you have to write. Homework and reading every week and discussion posts about every week. Would not recommend.

This professor is really clear with his lectures and very knowledgeable. His assignments can be rather hard unless you pay close attention to his lectures. The materials covered are basic engineering computer analytic skills, however, they are very useful outside of the classroom as well. He is very friendly and usually replies to your emails.

One of the easiest classes I have taken at the U of A. He's really straight forward in what he wants. The thing he really grades on is your grammar and MLA format. So if you can nail those 2 things, you'll pass the class with an easy A.

Dr. Waller is relatively a good professor, especially if he likes you. His video-lecture tend to be very clear, and you can always receive help in the lab. The schedule is very flexible, you can go to class whenever you want as long as you turn in the assignments. He is pretty much an expert with VBA, but he knows very little about Matlab.

Proffessor Waller is one of the most helpful professors i have met so far. The online class is a bit of a pain in the butt, but if you go to his lab sections him and his TA WILL help you! Very caring teacher and all around nice guy.

Very easy class, and you really don't have to be too interested. He writes his own textbook, which wouldn't be bad if the PDF was searchable. Sometimes you actually have to learn a bit to do the homework. Class isn't much work, and all the work there is is incredibly easy and lucid to complete.

Winter session, super easy. What he wants you to do is very clear and he grades fairly. It's an online class, you do things on your own instead of having someone hold your hand. I don't know why that is a surprise to some people. It's not rocket science anyway, all answers are found in the provided text (free, online).

Online Gen Ed. Nats 170. Pretty easy class. If you can search well from online text books and lecture video, homework is easy. Professor is little goofy on lecture video. Generally not that hard class. You have one research paper that you have to make a video with presentation.(not hard, just make a power point from paper and record it.) Recommend.

This class was super easy! Whether you take it online or the in class, quizzes are easy, and homework is easy. There is a pretty big paper due at the end but as long as you follow directions, you can easily earn a 100% on it.
