Would go off on random tangents in the middle of class with no relevance to subject matter. Would change test dates without telling any of the students. Probably the worst course I've taken at macomb. Was a 3.4 student but thanks to her I am not anymore.

Prof. Rueben made this class very interesting & was a great teacher. As long as you do the work & put in some effort you will do just fine. I received a B+ because of missing a few days & I didn't really try that hard. She was very accommodating. Offers EC. Attendance optional. Enrolled in another course with her & can't wait. Definitely recommend!

The woman is INSANE! She gave us an assignment that said in BOLD "due March 23rd" then on March 13th, she announces to the class "the assignment is due today" and claims that she had told us that it was a typing error and was actually due earlier! Not a single student in the room was aware. God awful teacher. Knowledgable but canNOT teach.

She is a very smart lady. Really knows the world and teaches so much about it and the regions. I like how she would give us more info on the area we were studying, such as the political and what is going on now there. One of my all time favorite teachers!

I took her class at WSU...I abosulutely regret taking this course with this teacher. Her lectures are all over the place, they were very difficult to follow. We got to use the study guide on the exams but 1/2 the questions weren't on the study quide. I don't recommend taking her for any class. She definitely talks to students like they're dumb...

I really liked her. She was very smart. The tests were tough, but she told some of the answers in class if we complained the questions were not fair. I loved the regional geography, but don't take the geology stuff unless you're really into it because it's hard stuff. She's not an entertainer, but she's not mean either.

Mrs. Rueben is a decent teacher. She knows a lot about everything; very smart lady. In order to do well on her tests you HAVE to take notes on everything she says and read the text. Her tests aren't really that hard but u do have to take notes. There is also one easy hw assignment and another where you get in front of the class & present something

Anyone who thinks this prof is not outstanding, does not take college seriously. Here are a couple of tips: 1. Show up for class! 2. Do your homework! This prof is one of my top 3 all time best. (I am now a grad student). She is interesting, intelligent, worldly, professional.
