C'mon, Ralph, slow down! *takes deep breath*. Dr. Cordell is hilarious...his tests weren't easy but curves them and offers extra credit opportunities. Took him in the summer and got an A+ pretty easily.

I had him for Microbiology & Public Health. He was EXCELLENT! He really enjoyed his lectures and did so with a passion. He's usually funny, which makes the learning experience worthwhile. Sometimes he can be difficult, but most of his exams and quizzes are fair. I strongly recommend him for this course. If you engage the class, then you're golden.

Tests were a bit tricky, and he gives weekly assignments related to the current research literature. I think this is great because most bio majors have no idea how to read these articles, and now is the time to learn! I enjoyed the class.

Dr. Cordell's class is extremely hard, but it really challenges you to see how smart you really are. This is not a class for those thy study only from the slides or for those that are ok with just being average. Great professor, EXTREMELY smart, may be too much for an introductory class that is mandatory for most of us.

Dr. Cordell is extremely smart. He's TOO smart to be teaching an introductory class. His lectures were hard to absorb, so I rarely attended class. I did all the assignments, 2 book reports, and did well on the lab exams so I ended up with a B. Dr. Cordell is very passionate about his subject and I'd take him again only because I know I'd pass.

He's a really nice guy and super smart, but his tests are HARD!! Do the extra credit book report and all the assignments! He tries his best to curve the tests scores and help you do well on them, but they're still hard so study well!! I had to teach myself most of the material.

Lectures are boring but he is funny. He does ramble often and usually u end up teaching yourself but the lectures are good to attend b/c the info does enter ur brain by just listening. Test are HARD study every detaile on lectures and do the extra credit book assignmet it makes all the difference at the end.

This is a difficult subject, and Dr. Cordell genuinely cares about teaching students. It was difficult because I had to teach myself the subject by reading the textbook and studying the review questions. I found it difficult to comprehend the lecture, but Dr. Cordell is willing to help you.

This class is so easy to make an A in without ever going to class, but it's super frustrating that you have to teach yourself EVERYTHING before the test. He's funny as hell, so the class isn't so rough, but you walk out no more knowledgeable about the topic than when you went in. He's hard to listen to ramble on.

THIS CLASS IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! HE WORKS FOR THE CDC AND HAS A PH.D IN BIO, SO HE SPEAKS AS IF EVERYONE ELSE IS A EDUCATED AS HE IS. HE'S REALLY REALLY FUNNY, BUT THE MATERIAL IS COMPLEX. I'VE TAKEN BIO IN THE PAST AND ALWAY GOT AN "A". IN THIS COURSE I GOT A "C". I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AS A TEACHER.

Prof. Cordell tests were based soley off his Power Point Presentations which he uploads on the net. Gave reviews from previous years test which are basically the same test he is going to give you. Very easy course plus he gives extra credit.

This is a hard class, no doubt about it. Dr. Cordell does the best he can to cover a LOT of material. Exams are difficult, but he gives some extra credit work to help your final grade. He is one of the nicest guys on campus and is very willing to help.
