I agree his lectures are sometimes hard to understand, however, if you did read the book througoutly (which is expected for high lvl math course) and go to his office hour for help, you should be fine. Never Never miss his lectures or juz memorize his notes but understand it, he will not exactly copy his examples to the final!

This is by far the worse class that I've ever taken. His exams are nothing like his lectures. In addition to that he's always giving the excuse. "Dont expect me to solve a problem that you may have about this class because im not a problem solving machine". On the other hand he may ask you anything on the test.

Nearly Impossible to understand which makes his writing on the board impossible to figure out. The notes are useless. Tests are impossible. By far the worst professor I've ever. I rarely rate professors but this guy is so bad that I actually have to warn others of him. Avoid at all costs!

I really wanted to learn this subject. It is so unfortunate that they let Srivastav teach at this university. His lectures are disjointed and unorganized and he has zero structure. Save yourself the headache and either learn the material yourself or wait until someone else is teaching your course

He was a little tough to understand at times, but then again, not everyone is going to speak perfect English. He covered the material well, though, at time, the class felt more like Linear Algebra than Differential Equations. I learned a lot in this class and that seemed to mean something to him.

Had him substituting one day. Speaks fast! You cannot understand a single ENGLISH he speaks! Do your self a favor and go read the text book or do practice problems. You will not learn anything in class period. Good luck passing his class
