I think accounting sucks either way, but I thought her class was hard. Tests were harder versions of the problems done in class. She also encourages students to ask questions, but makes them feel stupid when they do!

Great teacher but you have to put in a lot of effort to get an A. Go to every class and read the book. She has you do problems in class then goes over them so make sure you keep up with the reading before class. Also remember to study definitions because it will be an easy part of the exams. She curved the class a lot, I had a B+ and got an A.

I'm smart and I had to drop this class. I'm smart cause I got an A my first time in Finance 620. It is better to take this class at CSCC. Ramamurthy gives students hard homeworks, hard exams and is the devil in bed

Her exams can be tricky, but she does a very good job of preparing you (if you pay attention in class). This class isn't that bad, and my bet is she's one of the better 521 teachers you can get.

Not a bad professor, I don't know why people are busting her chops. She drills what you need to know into your head, you will be sick of it come exam time. Picking the right group also helps your grade (i.e. projects, studying). People should not be posting to avoid her, there are plenty of worse professors out there.

Groups are chosen by you, not her, which is good. She might have an accent, but it's not troublesome. She says 'know everything', so what? study it. i bombed the first midterm totally and ended up with a B-. she is very helpful and does care and her teaching is good. does a lot of practice in class.

For anyone who has seen the soup nazi episode of Sienfeld...Rama's stoic responses to questions asked in class are in line with this character. The class is difficult but final is a breeze if you pay attention in class. She is not going to win any popularity contest but still a good instructor
