Dr. Cross is an extremely funny professor who will tell lots of stories that are very interesting and fun to listen to. His class is easy, but if you want to get an A you need to do the at home reading he assigns to do really well on the test. Take him

Dr. Cross is simply the best their is! He is a very, very tough grader but you will get a chance to testify your mistakes and he will explain how to fix it. You only write one essay and all of the rest of the papers are paragraphs. He is hilarious and gives anecdoets about his life to go along with lecture. Make sure to get him a pair of socks.

Dr. Cross is one of the absolute best professors on campus. His class is challenging and makes you think, yes.. but is it a hard class? Nope. He is a great genuine person and you will not regret taking his class. I am sad I only have to take him for one class. He is big on attendance. He does not count off, but appreciates a student who is there.

Dr. Cross is the best professor I have ever had. He cares about his students and he is clear on course expectations. He is not a heavy grader, but he does expect effort to be taken. Show up to his classes, listen, and you should pass with flying colors. Wonderful!

Dr. Cross is not only funny but inspirational. He teaches his class by telling anecdotes about his life that go with his is lessons. You will read poetry. Then write what he call big boy and girl paragraphs. He doesnt grade the first two, so you can learn how to fix mistakes. He goes over every paper with you. I highly recommend this teacher.

I was told he was easy but he is such a strict grader. Everyone said he was so funny but in reality he is narcissistic, and thinks he's high and mighty. His final was a letter about him and about how great he is. Thats high school stupidity right there. Its basically a class about him. His views on anything is right and everyone is wrong.

I loved Dr. Cross so much that I took a second English class from him. He graded very sternly, but allowed you to bring rough drafts for "pre-grading" before the final paper was to be delivered. He was opinionated for sure, but was always open to other points of view, regardless of whether he agreed with them or not.

Dr. Cross is not your traditional professor, but he sure knows his stuff! He truly helped me understand everything Ive ever learned before. His classes arent lectures. They are very entertaining. After he grades your papers, everyone has a chance to explain what they did wrong so others can learn from it as well. Hes an amazing professor!

He's great. He's hilarious and has the best stories. One of the most interesting people I have ever met. Don't skip class though, he hates it. The only professor I would take for English at Calhoun.

I absolutely loved Mr. Randy! He is one of those professors whom I will never forget. He tells stories of his youth and old times past. All I can say is that he will help you learn more about poetry and encourage you to read it for yourself. Thank you Doctor Cross for a wonderful semester!!!

We had TWO grades before the final. People say that like it's a good thing, and it's not. He also gave no indication as to what the final would actually be (it ended up being an on-the-spot paper). On top of that, he spent more time telling bad stories and politically-charged jokes than teaching. I have never been more irritated in a class.

I LOVE Dr. Cross! He's hilarious and truly cares about each of his students. He gave 2 tests and a final exam for the entire semester. You have reading assignments out of class, but there's never a pop quiz. Take advantage of going to any events he offers extra credit for and bring him funny socks and you'll do just fine.
