I took his online course. He assigns way too much work, 4-6 assignments a week. He gives trick questions. He gives questions that are subjective so he can dock you. He does not like to give full credit. He will always find something to dock you on. He does not always have resources for you. Awful to achieve an A.

This class was very easy for me. The only thing I did not enjoy was asking Randy for help clarifying some things and he always wanted me to call him for help. I am always too busy, even outside of class, to call for a simple question. I do recommend him though to others debating on a course of his.

I thought he was a very good teacher. He does care and knows His stuff. He made class fun and always wondering what was going to happen next. He was hilarious during classes, and kept everyone interested.

He didn't teach!!! He showed us a powerpoint every Monday, said "Leave early" then expected us to teach ourselves all the material ourselves. It was pretty much an online course you HAD to show up to class for. Not at all helpful. Look up Higgins if you have to take CS120.

Class is a lot of fun. Hard grader if you don't study. Mr. Roos provides plenty of opprotunities to study and learn on the class website. Very knowledgeable and spends the extra time to answer your questions so you understand them. I will take as many classes from this instructor that I can.
