Thank God for the TA. Not a horrible class but TONS of dense reading. And a quiz almost daily.

Overall decent teacher. Sometimes he'll lose you, but when he does, his T.A. really helps clear things up in discussion. He is pretty anti-religious, and occasionally it shows. In general, if you pay attention in class, do the readings (usually 5-10 pages), and participate in discussion, you'll be just fine. Overall good intro to Philosophy

Pop quizzes make you go to class, but they are usually easy if you read. Breakout sucks cuz its really boring. 3 tests are not too bad; they depend on the TA grading them. Woller is pretty funny. He will post notes online after class. Look over them before tests. He curved one test by adding 9 points. It was overall an OK class.

This class was really boring. But it wasn't ridiculously hard. Yeah he is really liberal and pretty condescending to anyone that's not, but his class isn't all that bad, and you do learn a few things.

Dr. Woller is not bad @ all. Everything he went over was really interesting and although some things were unclear, he was willing to explain everything until you finally get it! Don't believe the hype, he's really okay!

He is really hilarious and makes class fairly entertaining. Sometimes, he can be a little unclear and some of his test questions are worded weird, but people make good grades anyway. Just be sure to skim the reading and review his notes a few times before the test, and you should be fine.

Just like every other philosophy professor, he's very intelligent and a little bit weird. It's not an easy class, but very helpful if you're thinking about majoring or minoring in philosophy. And, if you're a liberal, you're gonna like him a lot.

He's an intelligent teacher, but he's not very clear when explaining things. He's also funny and nice, but I wish he would spell things out a little more clearly.

This class is either really easy or really hard. There isn't really an in between. He goes over the readings but talks like you already know what he is talking about. Doesn't really explain things too clearly but he posts his notes online and they help some. Attendance isn't mandatory but he does give pop quizzes. He is kind of boring but alright.

A very boring hard to follow class, in my opinion, I would still recomend taking it if lookin for a easy grade. There are three 5 essay question test, and some quizzes on readings given every night. As long as you skim the readings, the tests and quizzes are no biggy. The grading is pretty solid and the lowest you can get on anything is a 50.

if you are a republican you probably won't like him. readings are really hard, but there are sparknotes for most of them. if you take notes in class and read sparknotes you can get a B on the tests. pop quizzes to check for attendance. not a really interesting class.

This class was incredibly boring. The lectures are jumbled all over the place and he uses outlandish examples to explain things. One good aspect, you don't really have to do the readings. I didn't read a single article, just read the notes before the test and managed to get a B! So, no need to go to class, just read the notes before the test!!

He uses the Socratic method, makes you do the readings, and actually go through them carefully and understand. Yes he is very picky on his quizzes, but he drops the 3 lowest scores. He was very helpful with the papers he assigned. He does make political wisecracks so if you are a close-minded conservative christian you probably won't like him.

If you don't agree with him, you are told you are both wrong and stupid. Gives off the vibe that he hates the whole class, and very difficult to learn from. Your input is not valued, so don't bother. Lectures poorly. Some students spent the semester counting how many times he said "right?", and other things like that. Made me hate philosophy.

I am conservative and he is liberal. He will let you know what he thinks of conservatives in a more than subtle way. However, this did not bother me. I think he is funny as hell and reminds me of Woody Allen which incidentally majored in philosophy. For
